I ordered 3 different plates; Oxtails, turkey wings, & fried chicken white meat. The food was the best soul food from a restaurant I have had in 20+years in eastern NC. They did not skimp on the portion sizes. The only exception to the food being good was the green beans were a little salty. I plan to become a regular.

Great food and great people.l! Amazing southern style cooking. Our family loved the hamburger steaks over a bed of rice and gravy. Mac and cheese, collards, cornbread, and pineapple tear were killer! Kids and grandparents loved it as well. Good portions, def recommend.

I haven’t had chance to eat there yet bc they were out of Everything when I went there. Came in and a young girl was upfront and said Nothing to me. She wasn’t friendly at All. Just looked at her watch and walked away then a young man came to assist me and was very friendly and helpful. They need to get rid of the girl bc I seen complaints about her b4 going there. Not friendly or very welcoming at All. You Not doing me a favor sweetheart by serving me but I’m doing you a favor trying to give you business so you’ll have a job since y’all had to shutdown your business in Washington bc of high prices and probably this nasty attitude here Get it together hunni or find another job. I almost never post negative comments, but I felt this experience deserved honesty. We ordered a white meat chicken dinner with 2 sides and a veggie plate. Cost was nearly $35.00. The young lady that took my money was not friendly which was disappointing because the older lady that greeted was super nice. Plus the young lady abruptly told us to wait in the car and we would be notified, which we had no problem doing, it was her attitude that was not nice. Plus the seasoning on the chicken didn’t have a good flavor, plus the chicken breast was not done. Im not sure why the food was not good because we had eaten there before. I hope this will help those who are considering an evening out. Hopefully, your experience will be better. And we threw the food in the trash…smh.
