Allegedly Bermuda’s oldest pub, we called for drinks. Friendly bar staff helped me choose a local pale ale with white wine for my wife.
Really has an olde-worlde feel, with brick floors.
Didn’t like to see the fish couped up in the tank at the entrance; they would be better, and happier, back in the sea.

Stopped by for an afternoon snack and was not disappointed! The drinks were refreshing and well-crafted, hitting all the right spots. The wahoo nuggets and fish chowder, though? Absolute standouts, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A delightful spot for a casual, delicious bite!

I celebrated my birthday lunch at White Horse Restaurant in beautiful Bermuda , and it was absolutely fantastic! The ambiance was inviting, the service attentive, Jengie the server was amazing and the food – simply amazing. As a vegan, I was thrilled by the variety of delicious plant-based options available. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, with vibrant flavors that made it a memorable meal. Thank you, White Horse, for making my birthday lunch so special. I can’t wait to come back!

This was a really nice restaurant. The food was cooked well and they served good examples of Bermudan tourist restaurants in keeping with where else we’ve been. The staff were polite and friendly and looked after the children.
The kids meals were really good sized portions (could have shared 1 meal between 2 /2 between 3).the classic fish sandwich was tasty.

Garlic mussels is the bomb!! Calamari is fried just right on time.. not overcooked so still tender inside and crispy outside. Patio seatings available ,we enjoyed feeding the fishes, biggest parrotfish I’ve seen. Would visit again when we visit the island.

The food was good and very appealing to the eye but the service can be improved….it took too long to be served. Other than that it was fascinating seeing all the fishes come up with you throw food to them and the ducks were awesome. Dining on the deck, the view and the sea breeze makes it a good location to dine. I do recommend the avocado appetizer it was really good. I would go again.

This place is an old establishment located in a great spot in St George. Typical British pub with the exception of fresh seafood including same day fresh lobster deliveries. Prices were higher than expected, but, it’s Bermuda. Wait staff was not as attentive as i would’ve liked and they give change in Bermudian dollars. Silly since the island runs on US dollars. It is a nice place in a historical setting, but a short walk will take you to there bar on Tobacco Bay, with much more expensive drinks and a very limited selection, but the view is unbelievable.

We had several meals there, both lunch and dinner, while we were in Bermuda. All were excellent. The waiters and bartenders were all so friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The food was outstanding. Great wahoo, great escargot, great shrimp, great fish tacos, great pizza. The wine list was both shockingly limited and incredibly good. I highly recommend you blindly order a bottle of red wine and you’ll be very pleased with what they bring. Once we found the White Horse we kept going back and you will too. Trust me.
