The chicken fajitas tasted good however I feel like the chicken could use more seasoning. Charro beans needed some salt but after that they were tasty. Fresh tortillas and fresh rice. The sweet tea was fresh and enjoyable. Chips and salsa were good. My friend said he enjoyed his tamales as well. Friendly staff and Cecilia was very nice as well. Muchas gracias

I’m a Mexican food snob & this place is a hidden gem and checked off a few things off my list. The salsa had amazing flavor & the sweet tea was perfect. The fajitas came out sizzling (ahhh music to my ears) the flavor of the rice was great! Service on point. The place is a little quiet maybe play some low tunes in the back ground. Other than that, I will definitely be back!

Nasty look at all that greasezzzzzz look at the nachos. the hot sauce and queso where clean you out store bought. high dollar slop. There was black mold all over the ceiling. Waste of money. Would not recommend at all.

Great little gem hidden away in old downtown Chico. (The staff was very COViD conscious. It was appreciated.) Restaurant was neat and clean while the staff were welcoming and attentive. Menu has a good selection of Tex-Mex and a few more traditional Mexican dishes. We had the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas and Julio’s Parillada. Both were Excellent! The Parillada was a lot of food for one person…it’s like an extended Fajita plate with chicken, beef, sausage, and shrimp. Food was hot and very, very tasty. Chips were thicker and held up to the salsa and guacamole…it was all fantastic. Its definitely at the top of our list because you just can’t have too much Mexican food!
