I like to take my hcrs clients here, its reasonably priced and the wait staff are really nice to my clients. The owner is a joy! Ive never had a bad meal there. I do wish there was more vegetable options other then frozen cooked broccoli. I love beets ,carrots, green beans etc…. but its “always” broccoli lol! The Turkey dinner is a fave of people who go there, also the fried seafood is yummy too! My friends love there fresh burgers! (they’re not frozen patty) I miss their salad bar! We’ve gone there for breakfast, lunch and dinner on different occasions and its always been good. Staff is always great!

Great experience. Could tell the waitress was fairly new. She was not totally familiar with the menu, but dis a great job. Food was delicious and good sized portions.

We were in the area while on a family camping trip and decided to stop by for breakfast. Unfortunately, there is no outdoor seating, as we also had our pets with us. They were more than happy to accommodate us by putting our orders to go so we could eat in the vehicle on our travels. We were pleased with the quality of the food but we did have to go back to get utensils and drinks we had also ordered. The visit was on a weekend so I do understand they were probably too busy to remember. We would like to try this place again from the inside someday on a weekday.

Look, I’ve eaten fermented shark in Iceland, goat roasted in a tire rim on the outskirts of Marrakech, and a bowl of pho in Hanoi so volcanic it made my great-grandfather sweat in his grave. But nothing—and I mean nothing—could’ve prepped me for the emotional uppercut that is Riverside’s blueberry pancakes. I took one bite and instantly forgave my ex, my blood pressure dropped, and I swear my student loans started weeping.
This isn’t one of those brunch places with $18 avocado toast and a waiter named Zephyr who calls himself a “vibe curator.” No, Riverside is old-school America, greasy and glorious: two eggs, toast, home fries, and sausage gravy so righteous it could reunite divorced parents. No edible flowers. No Instagrammable mason jars. Just food your grandma would’ve made—if she’d chain-smoked menthols, worked a double shift, and didn’t have time for your whining.
The place is a love letter to 1958: wood paneling, cracked vinyl booths, a countertop lined with swivel stools, and absolutely no shame. It smells like bacon, ambition, and a union pension.
But the real secret sauce? The Soul Sisters: Sherri and Donna. Donna had coffee in front of me before I even sat down. Sherri? Dancing behind the counter like she’s headlining “Diner: The Musical.” These women aren’t servers—they’re breakfast warriors. The kind of people who could handle a kitchen fire and a breakup before noon and still crack a joke while flipping your pancakes. I’d trust them with my life—or at the very least, my cholesterol.
And then there’s Crystal, the boss. But not the kind who hides in the back office counting spoons—Crystal’s in it. Slinging mugs, wiping counters, managing chaos with the kind of calm that only comes from decades in the trenches. She’s the glue. The general. The reason this place hums like a V8 engine with bad intentions.
Yeah, it’s in a strip mall. So what? I’ve eaten Michelin-starred meals that cost more than my rent and left hungry. Riverside? Riverside fills your belly, lifts your spirit, and hands you a slice of Americana with a side of sass—and all for the price of a gas station sandwich.
Go hungry. Leave happy. Tip like your mama raised you right.

I don’t think they change the cooking oil. I’ve never in my life had dark brown/black french fries. The food was just edible. I wouldn’t eat here again. She also was shocked that we handed her a debit card to pay for our $60 bill.

Yum.. Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had..
Chicken was so juicy. If you like sweet potatoe fries they are amazing.
Causal dining. Clean friendly staff.. A little pricey but sssssooo worth it. Unfortunately because I’m out of state I won’t make back. If I lived closer I would go again

The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve ever had. Seriously. Get them!
Nice place. Prices were reasonable. I liked that they had a solid variety of options, without going over the top without giving me a small book for a menu. Good menu layout and friendly staff. I think I saw a salad bar too, which sounded nice, but I was just interested in steak that day.
Wouldn’t mind heading in there again, next time I’m in the area.
