Best Pierogis, Mac and cheese, apple sauce, potato pancakes, coleslaw, and fish fry I have ever had!!! Wish I could give 10 stars. Amazing friendly service. The dessert pierogis were amazing too!

First time at Cop Out and won’t be my last! The menu is extensive with so many flavor options, and everything comes out hot and fresh. Lisa (our waitress) was so attentive and friendly, and the owner came out to greet us, chat with us and offered free samples. Such a neighborly vibe! It’s small and limited seating, but you can always get them frozen and take home. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful little spot. We visited from out of town where Polish food is also part of our culture. We ordered two orders of pierogis and stuffed cabbage. Everything was delicious and super flavorful. The service was great and extremely friendly! When we return, we will definitely be back and hope to bring some home next time too!

In Pittsburgh for the weekend, had to have pierogies. Visited Cop Out Pierogies for the wide selection and was very pleased with the outcome. The ownership was very friendly and welcoming, gave recommendations and suggestions and performed the trifecta with delivering a delicious product. Had the potato and cheese, potato bacon and kraut and the gyro pierogies. All delicious. Don’t skip on the onions, just added flavor, and the table seasonings brought things up a notch as well. Definitely worth the visit.

I would give 10 stars if I could. The most authentic “Pittsburgh” experience ever. My wife who is from Oregon was sad the pierogi fest was sold out so we ended up here as a second choice and I’m sure happy we did.

The staff were super kind and helpful. They have kinda strange hours. Close early and only open 4 days a week but with that said it’s worth a stop.

Tried the spicy potato one and the buffalo chicken as well. More food than 2 people could eat. The owner treated us to some delicious dessert ones. Also 5 stars.

Will be back because the food was amazing and it feels like we made 2 new friends. Cheers and like I said. You earned two new customers for life! See ya around.

My first ever pierogies! They did not disappoint. These were my favorite food in all of Pittsburgh. Our server recommended authentic polish potato pierogies. We got the Potato Cheese & Jalapeño Pierogies, Pumpkin Spice Dessert Pierogies and Cabbage wrapped meatballs. Everything was perfect 10/10. The pierogies were soft and chewy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The dessert ones are to-die-for, they are extra crispy like a fried pie. And the meatballs were huge and delicious! The owners are the sweetest couple who treat any customer like family. This is a must-try in Pittsburgh

Excellent! We went for the first time after hearing about them for years since we moved to Pittsburgh. The people who own it are some of the sweetest people we’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. They went out of their way to accommodate me, my husband, our 2 small girls and my cousin. We had ordered a lot of food so they brought over a separate small table so that we could put some of it on that and not have our table too crowded while we were eating. They gave us some of their delicious dessert pierogis and they gave the girls coloring books and a stuffed animal each. My 3 year old told them that “it was the best food ever!” and was so happy that she gave them hugs. The pierogis we THE BEST we’ve ever had and the experience was, by far, one of the best we’ve ever had. 1,000/10. HIGHLY RECOMMEND giving this wonderful couple your business.

We look forward to our Christmas pierogies every year! Lisa is amazing with making sure they have the allergy friendly items we need. I can’t tell you how grateful all of our guests are to have such a delicious meal especially those with food sensitivities! We will be back before Christmas but thank you for being such an amazing part of our Christmas tradition!

I googled this place before I went there for lunch, they had great reviews and the woman and man are so very nice. It’s a cute place to grab a bite to eat. They have maybe 4 tables so not a real big place. The chicken parm pierogies I had were good. It was a lot of cheese in them. So if you like a lot of cheese get that one. The nice gentleman that works there made this homemade applesauce and I tried it and I swear it was the best applesauce I had ever tasted, beautiful blend of cinnamon and apples. I would definitely purchase that if it was sold on the shelves in a store. The fries were very delicious!! Overall, a great place to stop if you are ever in the area. I will be back.
