Was in town visiting remodeling one of my rental properties and the granite shop is right around the corner and so my husband and I stopped in to grab a bite to eat and let me just say this is REAL FALL OFF THE BONE… MARINATED, SEASONED AND SMOKED FOR 16-18 HOURS AND SMACKS YA IN THE FACE ITS SO GOOD… wish I could of shipped myself back some to Atlanta, Georgia. But luckily I own property in the area so I’ll be back!

This place is better than Black’s Barbecue in south Texas, where I’m from. I’ve NEVER eaten a rib with meat that fell off the bone like that.. my tummy is still in shock.. that was amazing! Thank you!

Normally eat lunch here in particular the Danny Special which is awesome. Picked up ribs and a couple sides for dinner. Was treated to a generous helping of free rib ends too!

Just run of the mill BBQ joint. Ribs were okay, needed more smoke-time/flavor, or something. Daughter liked her sammich. Pretty good, on par w/McDonald’s, or Taco bell. Now Katy’s BBQ has much more flavor, but isn’t open enough days.

I wish we could give them more than 5 stars!! My husband and I were in Tyler for work and we stopped by for our first meal in Tyler. Myyyy goodness!!!! We were offered a rib to sample. That sealed the deal. We ordered a 4 meat plate and a BBQ potato. There was so much food we could make three meals out of our order. Portions were huge. The ribs fell off the bone and the meat was the best we’ve had. We travel a lot for work and we are native Texans so I don’t use that term generously. It was the BEST ribs we’ve ever had. The customer service was top notch. They were friendly and welcoming and downright GOOD people. I ended up ordering a blackberry cobbler to go and ate it at the hotel and it was as good as my great grandma’s cobbler. I haven’t eaten cobbler as good as her since the 80’s. I wish we could pack this place up and take it back to Houston with us. When you travel a lot for work, meals just become routine, average, ”same ol, same ol” but not this place. We will be back EVERY time we come to Tyler.

The food was great. I had the daily special with seasoned green beans. The only complaint was there was hardly any meat on the ribs. The ribs tasted great. That is my only reason for not giving a 5. I had to take all the meat from all 4 to make a sandwich. Pic on right is the amount from each rib

Ribs had more fat than I am used to and the bark on the ribs was so tough that I had to remove it to be able to eat the ribs. Other than that, it was great!
