Social Profile:

Intent on creating a fun, lively and approachable dining dive in our new renovated downtown building where the very best in food and drinks would be served in a cozy, welcoming setting. We scrutinized every detail of our decor to make our restaurant inviting, with each piece telling a story of how we got to where we are today. The rusty tin and wood used for the bar we’re gathered from local ranch in Clay County. Finally in the spring of 2018, Bull Malarkey’s will welcome diners from near and far. Bull Malarkey’s is a neighborhood spot. A friendly, always casual place to enjoy delicious entrées, burgers, sandwiches, salads, wine, beer, cider.

Always excellent food and service. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable and “cute” as my wife has said. Definitely a family friendly place run by family people. Delicious handcrafted food at a reasonable price. Fried foods are done so in 100% beef tallow and the difference is definitely noticeable. I can’t wait to try everything on the menu. Wait times vary, never very long if a wait is needed. Reservations are suggested, but we have not made one yet. Our visits have been spur of the moment. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Amazing spot, gracious hosts, great food, good portions, very clean (cute bathrooms!) and wonderful service. I also love that they take reservations, which is hard to find these days!

The reason for my 3-star overall review is the pricing…it’s the ONLY part of this restaurant that didn’t feel hospitable:

We had a party of 4 and decided on two appetizers and two entrees to family-style our meal like we always do. On the queso app, she asked if we wanted salsa too (most places come with salsa if you order queso). When the bill came, we had an up charge for salsa and $4 in up charges for the shared plates. I can understand the salsa (even though she made it sound like it was an included option), and I saw the shared plate note on the menu after the fact (I’m glad they have it!), but I just don’t think it’s appropriate to have a splitting charge when you’re not offering guests anything “free” (bread, peanuts, chips, etc)…we loved the environment and had a nice time, just felt unnecessarily nickle-and-dimed.

FWIW: We spent $86 (before gratuity) almost $22 per person splitting two entrees, an extra house salad and two apps. The $4 splitting fee just didn’t seem appropriate—it’s not much in the grander scheme of things/the check, but those decisions/charges send messages to guests that I don’t think they’re intending. As someone who worked in the food industry for over a decade, it’s those small charges that make a difference where I prioritize dining. I would rather see the mom and pops absorb those fees into their menu pricing instead honestly.

If you made it this far, thanks for sticking with me! Go check them out for yourselves!

Good prices, home cooked and fresh. The decor is great hunting lodge in the front and typical bar in the back. I got the bull bunner burger.

I was blown away from the moment I walked in and saw the Taxidermy on the wall all whilst Cross Canadian Ragweed was playing. The very best steak fingers I’ve had, hands down. The fries were excellent as well. Great seasoning. I live 40 minutes away but I will be a frequent visitor to this establishment. Excited to eat my way through the rest of the menu.

It is absolutely a scenic atmosphere. We arrived to a full house, left and came back to almost empty house. Great service & fresh inside. The salad was refreshing, the steak fingers had a homemade flavor of goodness. The gravy was thick but yummy. The half/half tea was strong! The first time experience was great memory for our lunch date. Absolutely recommend.

This place is an absolute MUST if passing through Henrietta! Absolutely the best burger we have ever had (our 11 year old agreed and she’s not even really a fan of hamburgers in general), and the service was impeccable. They also have a huge bar/lounge area in the back that seemed like a great place for happy hour. This place is conveniently located a block off of highway 82, for those traveling through. Cannot recommend enough! And yes, some people may find it a tad pricey, (we didn’t, as we are accustomed to paying extra for elevated food), but trust me their food is worth every penny! Just stop here, and thank me later.

A truly small-town gem that surpasses all expectations of a 5-star restaurant you would find in the metroplex. Great atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff and absolutely the very best steak, loaded mashed potatoes I have ever had. Was dining with five others that ordered various chicken and beef entrées, and they each all stated the same. We will be back for sure!

We decided to stop here on our roadtrip from Katy to Arizona, and I’m so glad we did. Their smash burgers were absolutely delicious. All 6 of my kids were satisfied, and that’s saying a lot. We finished off with bread pudding and lemon pound cake for dessert. The bread pudding was the best I’ve ever had. Our waitress was so friendly, the atmosphere was amazing, and I’m so glad we were able to stop here on our trip.

We had the pulled pork egg rolls for lunch could not be more delicious, wonderful insides and the perfect crunch on the outside makes it the perfect comfort food! Every Togo container has a Bible verse making them that much more special!
