Once inside I placed my order, double cheeseburger, fried chicken sandwich and some tacos. After 45 minutes of waiting my food was finally ready. Got home and the fries were ice cold, hard as a rock and had more salt than the dead sea has. The chicken sandwich was dry and half of it was inedible that my wife had to throw it away. The burger meat was also dry as a bone only the sauce made it slightly edible. The tacos were so bad my son couldn’t even finish half of one and his stomach started hurting him.
To compound the issue (and quite frankly why I’m making this review) is that I tried calling them 5 times after to speak directly to them. The phone went directly to voicemail that is full each time and can’t accept any more messages.
What a total waste of money!
I had a simple order, done in the lobby. 2 tacos and a double jack, without ketchup (see receipt picture). When I got my bags, one had 2 tacos and one had a burger. When I got home, the tacos were soggy and stuck to the wrappers. I had y to, literally, scrape them off the wrappers and eat them with a spoon. I dealt with that, since I love the tacos. However, when I opened the burger, I received a Jr. Jack WITH ketchup (see second & third pictures). I can’t eat this and have to throw it away. It was nowhere close to what I ordered. I tried to call the location to complain but, of course, nobody answers. I can’t go back and try to get the right burger, as I will not wait in line again. I am stuck with food I can’t eat. Very disappointing.
If anyone from the location, or corporate, reads this, please advise a way I can get the burger credited back to my payment card.
Open at 8 with ONE employee?? I felt horrible for the woman who had a bucket in hand to clean the tables when I drove up.after no response from the speaker. She was cleaning, taking orders, $, and cooking!?? She said someone else was coming in.
At 8:10, 3 employees showed up! How can you open without more than one employee???
My $14 order was handed to me at 8:20 with a “Sorry for the wait.” that I thought was sincere from a man that was now rushing around.
2 tacos were half cooked and inedible. Sauced minis were hot. # 9 burger was warm.
Give the woman who opened and tried to do EVERYTHING ALONE a raise, and get some corporates in there to see what is really going on.
I love Jack, but …
Overall the staff was still polite and the quality of the food made up for the wait. If you’re not in a huge rush, it’s definitely worth the stop.
Also they were out of Dr Pepper, Coke, Root Beer, and said they couldn’t make milkshakes.
Not to mention every review I’ve seen has been met with the same reply from the owner, yet here I am dealing with the same issues. This owner doesn’t care about his job and it’s sad to see a restaurant i love being tainted by a terrible franchisee.
Just go get Wendy’s or McDonald’s down the street
It’s Jack in the box, you don’t need to read this part of the review. It’s pretty good fast food.
Service:
Oh boy… The kiosk was out of paper, and we didn’t remember our order number from the 2 seconds it was displayed on the screen. So trying to monitor when your food was arriving was nearly impossible especially if it was a common order. The wait… I wish I could say 6 or 7 minutes for food…it was closer to 15 minutes (and we didn’t have a complex order just a simple order for 2 people). It didn’t look like it was understaffed perhaps just not properly trained.
Atmosphere:
Yeah, fine. It was clean ish, all the lights worked… There were a few straw wrappers on the floor, the management was changing out the garbage for at least 5 minutes. We had to wait to leave because management was moping the floor next to the exit (all same person for the garbage, mop, floor cleaning). Overall just seemed as well running as a 10 year old Chrysler (if you know you know).
