Everything we had was DELICIOUS! Hibachi shrimp with noodles and vegetable medley side, hibachi shrimp with rice and vegetable medley side, and a Catamount Roll!

Ordered the veggie sushi roll, my oldest toddler ate it and enjoyed it.
Ordered the veggie dragon roll without the eel sauce for myself and it was so underwhelming.
My husband ordered fried rice and it was the equivalent to what I’d imagine uncle Ben’s microwaveable brown rice to be with 3 pieces of chopped carrots.

Honestly, wouldn’t recommend. Just a 23 minute drive from this place is a better sushi option.

I was disappointed with the hibachi chicken dish. The rice was texture with no flavor. I noticed that the table next to me did not eat theirs and took leftovers without taking the rice. Also the carrots did not make any sense. They did not pair with my dish and did not look good with the stir fry next to me.
The chicken was OK and the mushrooms with it were good.
I also had the miso soup which I enjoyed. It had small tofu and pieces of seaweed which was wonderful.
The table next to me had beautiful spring rolls and they said they were tasty. They looked fresh made so I am going back to try them.
The atmosphere was bright, and welcoming and the staff did an excellent job making sure all folks were taken care of. Because of this I will definitely return and try something else 🙂

Excellent food. Always love how simple and good their food is. I tried their fried catamount roll. Wasn’t for me. I’d prefer it unfriend. I’ll try another one next time, unfried. My go to is the chicken teriyaki entree. It does not come with mushrooms though. Add sauteed mushrooms and it’s perfect! These plates are good for two people IF you are not super hungry. Service is very good! It is usually packed at lunch. It is loud sometimes. Will be back!

My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 4.5 years here, and I really enjoyed it! The inside was super busy, but we were able to sit at a table with no issue. The service was quick! We got our food within about 5 minutes of ordering it, and the food was hot and fresh. For appetizers, we got the fried dumplings and vegetable tempura. The fried dumplings ($4.50) were nice and crunchy, and went super well with the dipping sauce. The vegetable tempura ($8.00) was also amazing! I ordered the teriyaki chicken entree, and it was amazing. I didn’t realize it came with rice and carrots, which was a pleasant surprise (I wasn’t sure if they had only come with the combination plates). The food was more than enough! For the price ($9.50) it was a really generous portion. I really enjoyed this experience and am excited to come back!

Friendly and quick service! The crab pillows were delicious. I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi with the vegetable medley, it was decent. I do feel like for the price there should have been more steak and shrimp on the plate.

This is a rough one. The food was good but not exactly tasting like Japanese, imho. However, it was good. I’m not sure about the carrot thing. I ate them they are fine, but I don’t typically want a side carrots. Unless I’m at Cracker Barrel. The cost is similar to a hibachi steakhouse, but that is where that comparison ends. It was good, but it was not like I would say this is a must try restaurant in this area.

I’m honestly in the fence if I would visit again. As there are other options that I have liked better in the Dillsboro/sylva area. As the price is a bit much for basically fast food Asian dishes. Again, it’s not exactly tasting like Japanese, imho. The pricing is also up-charge style. Want onions add 1.50 want some zucchini add 1.50, etc.

The vegetables are excellent
We were for to not have arrived during the rush. Our servers were excellent land lead us in wonderful choices. I had house vegetables which were a great mixture of sweet carrots, zucchini and onions and mushrooms along with rice. with salmon. The fish was overcooked is the only issue. We enjoy eating there.

Never eaten at this one before and this place was absolutely slammed. So I ordered some extra appetizers simply based off of that. We spent close to $100 bucks for 3 meals, a few apps and 2 boba teas, I’ve come to the realization that that’s just where were at now. But, the steak was beyond flavorless, tasted fake almost, I’m not a cook and feel I could’ve done way better. My son said it was chewy and not juicy, I totally agreed.
The carrots that come with every meal taste exactly like carrots that were served at any chow hall in Iraq, no lie. Maybe the carrots are canned? However the staff was beyond pleasant and was busting their butts, but in mommy opinion that doesn’t offset the quality of the food. Hard pass for me from here on out unless I wanna grab a quick boba for the kiddos.
