Price gouging at its finest! Just went to pick up a medium sized platter, their credit card machine is broken. The ATM next door charges their fees then to overly priced for a mediocre platter really sent me! I asked them why if online their prices are different she said it was due to the sales tax lol!!! $8 difference!! Why be deceitful? If you’re that broke just say so lady! The food was disgusting! I would never go there again! Food is sitting there all day. EeeeeeYUCKKKKKKK!

Update: I recently ordered jerk chicken for the first time. I paid extra for the white meat. It was worth it. I asked for oxtail gravy in the rice and peas. Everything was delicious. The rice was fresh and had a creamy texture. The jerk chicken came with jerk sauce I’m assuming on the side. The sauce had a medium heat that increased as you dipped. The chicken alone wasn’t hot but had a smokey flavor.
*At the time of this post they were renovating, so the green “Coconut Breeze” design was gone. Easy to pass by but they’re definitely open.

I don’t know who was in the kitchen, but the food was better than ever. (Maybe cause of the holidays)I ordered my usual, medium brown stew chicken, plantains and rice and peas. I ordered around 5p on a Sunday. Great portions, flavorful, and so good. Notice the green pepper added, the side of gravy and there were potatoes too. Very good!

I ordered for delivery, and squealed with delight when I opened my soup, after requesting, and receiving, all these extra dumplings, I had to call the Restaurant to thank them for sending exactly what I asked for. My food is all soooo yummy. Oxtail is tender and tasty. Chicken soup, and all my extra dumplings deliciously satisfying.
I wholeheartedly recommend Coconut Breeze Cuisine. When you go to this restaurant, keep in mind that patience will be rewarded with deliciousness.

When I went into the store, I specifically asked for a jerk chicken platter and an order of jerk chicken Rasta pasta. While preparing to eat the Jerk Chicken platter, I noticed the chicken was a stew chicken not jerk chicken. When I contacted the location and spoke to the person who took the order, she claims she asked me (2) times and I said I asked for (2) chicken platter, (1) chicken and the other a jerk chicken Rasta pasta. So, if I asked for (2) platters, how is it she heard (1) was Rasta pasta and the other was regular stew chicken. If she wasn’t on the phone while taking my order, she would’ve heard I asked a jerk chicken platter and a jerk chicken Rasta pasta. #No Accountability

I ordered a barbecue chicken platter baked macaroni and collard greens collard greens are not good at all they need to go back to the drawing board with the collard greens macaroni is okay it’s cheesy but it tastes Bland it tastes like you need some salt pepper and a egg or two and maybe some canned milk fried chicken is good the only problem with the chicken is the barbecue sauce they’re using for the chicken is not good for this chicken they need to try using like some Sweet Baby Ray’s this place has potential hopefully they can make changes to the Macaroni the collard greens and switch the barbecue sauce they’re using on the chicken if I was them I would use the Sweet Baby Ray’s barbecue sauce if they need some pointers and how to make fried BBQ chicken and macaroni and collard greens they better go check out Jamaican D’s in Germantown they got it down pack

This is one of the best places I’ve had for Jamaican food since living in Philly. Ordered from there for the first time during the pandemic a few months back and glad I did.
Food came in good timing (through UberEats) and was shocked by the amount of food in the platter. I ordered a large Jerk Chicken platter that came with two sides (I chose mac& cheese and rice&peas), a side of yams, a side of plantains and a pineapple soda. Even though I ordered a large, I didn’t expected it to be so much food, and the food was delicious! The chicken was cooked well, had a good jerk sauce and well seasoned. The sides were pretty good too (they fried the plantains just right).
Definitely recommend this place and look forward to ordering from them again.

(I forgot about this place.) The food was good… The BBQ sauce on the chicken is very yummy! It’s sticky and mild. The curry goat was better than the curry chicken. The curry chicken didn’t have enough potatoes & carrots in it… The cabbage was good but, not enough on the platter. Oh! Lastly, the plantains are SOOOO GOOD!
