Moved into the area and decided to check out this cafe bec/ of the reviews. The male barista was great and the cafe was lovely nice atmosphere. However the drink I ordered was an iced brown sugar with boba I put in two pictures so yall can see the difference in them. I didn’t want to ask for a remake bec/ the line was long and he was already busy so I took an L. The drink I received was made with whole milk which is fine but it tased like straight up sweet cream vanilla no brown sugar or tea it’s not near what I expected. I possibly could of just ordered it wrong not what I wanted bec/ the flavor was not it. It was overly sweet and milky another barista also gave me the wrong straw so I couldn’t drink the boba.

Very cute cafe located in a peaceful part of Waterbury Main Street off the highway. I got a Iced brown sugar matcha with cold foam and cinnamon, and it was delicious. It cost about 9$ without the tip which is expensive but I felt worth it for the complex flavour and quality of the matcha. Very nice environment to study, but it is quite loud and so you’ll want to bring headphones. Bathrooms are gender neutral, spacious, and clean. Lots of space to sit and study for a few hours. Also lots of art for sale, all of which is human made, and seems to be local. Ill definitely come back again.

I have frequented this Cheshire Coffee location for quite a few years and sadly have to give yesterdays visit a 1 star. I ordered a flavored iced coffee and added milk. All stirred and ready to go, I put the straw in, took a sip and received a mouthful of refreshing COFFEE GROUNDS. UGH!
I dashed to the milk/condiment “bar” and used the garbage hole as a spittoon. While shifting random grounds out of my teeth with my tongue and swallowing them, I ambled up to the counter for a replacement.
Since the workers were busy putting together a “to go” order, it took some time to wait on me. I finally was able to explain what had occurred and received a rapid auctioneer-like apology.
My drink was remade and I overheard snickering and laughter behind the counter. Inexcusable.
It would have been a nice restitution if I had been offered a more sincere apology along with a $5 gift card or free pastry.
Next time around, I’ll sadly be heading to another establishment.

Must go to coffee shop! Tucked away in a small plaza is this gem you won’t regret visiting. One of the most appealing aspects is the many flavors of their seasonal menu! There were so many delicious flavors, it was hard to chose from. But of course, I had to go with the s’mores latte. Wish I lived closer or else I would definitely become a regular here!

Although I tend to come here often in the morning when I don’t have time to stop at my other coffee shop, I should have learned my lesson by now.. because every time I order coffee I get a half a cup of foam instead of coffee. For coffee that is a little on the more expensive side.. more so then other local coffee shops. It’s disappointing to get to your destination to be excited to drink your coffee only for it to be half of a cup of foam. Can you guys please be mindful of not filling someone’s cup with foam?! It’s highly disappointing.

The black sesame and matcha latte might be the best latte I’ve had. Been going here for years and that drink prompted me leave a review. Certainly not for everyone but it has an amazing balance of mild nutrients, a subtle savory backbone, and the latte flavor rides that and a very different mouth feel.

2 meetings in 2 days held at Cheshire Coffee. Both days the service was lovely, the coffee (plain hot Columbian) was good and the atmosphere nice. My friends enjoyed their specialty drinks. Recommend!
