⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Hidden Gem in the East End: You NEED to try the “Tacon”!
If you’re exploring the East End, La Casita is the absolute “if you know, you know” spot. This isn’t just another Mexican restaurant; it’s a masterclass in authentic flavors and cozy vibes.

The Food: Beyond the Ordinary

Chips & Salsa: Forget the watery stuff. Their salsa is made with fire-roasted tomatoes, giving it a deep, smoky complexity that makes it impossible to stop eating.

The “Tacon”: I had never heard of this dish before, but it was the undisputed star of the show. If you see it on the menu, order it. It’s a flavor explosion that I’m still thinking about days later.

The Vibe

The restaurant is incredibly quaint and cozy, making it perfect for a date night or an intimate dinner with friends. However, because it’s such a local treasure, seating is limited.

Pro Tip: Do not risk a walk-in! Highly recommend making reservations in advance to secure a table in this tiny culinary paradise.

We really enjoyed dinner at La Casita. We sat on the patio and enjoyed margaritas, chips, salsa, and queso to start. I especially enjoyed the watermelon margarita. The birria tacos were the special of the evening and they did not disappoint. Tables are close to one another and we enjoyed chatting with other patrons. This seems to be a favorite spot amongst at locals and visitors. Ample lot and street parking.

We had a group of 20 for a private lunch at La Casita and had a wonderful time! The margaritas were fantastic and service was great. Because we were a big group the food took a little long but it was worth the wait as the food was incredible when it arrived. Highly highly recommend if you want top class Mexican food and drink for a reasonable price!

Great spot on the East End. Burrito, Tacon De Asada, margs, chips and salsa. Make sure to try the hot salsa! Service was amazing and the patio is quaint. Reasonably priced as well!

I ordered tacos and the tortillas were handmade and delicious. They accommodated gluten and dairy allergies. My spouse enjoyed the enchiladas.

La Casita was the best restaurant on our trip to Grand Cayman. We didn’t have a reservation, but they were able to seat our family of 4. The food was so fresh and flavorful. The drinks were delicious. Service was quick and attentive!

Amazing food at this local restaurant! Best margaritas on the island and some of the best Mexican food we have all had. The people helping us did great explaining some things on the menu and was such a fun atmosphere. Also has a little corner of fun earrings and things you can purchase. Will definitely be back!! Also has a free shuttle option from morrit resort!

Our first visit was spectacular! We started at the bar, with Chester making us the best Spicy Pineapple margarita. Then we sat in the patio area and enjoyed appetizers and tacos, followed by dessert.
Friendly staff, a fun and welcoming atmosphere, and amazing food and drinks. I look forward to our next visit…and several more!

We were in the Grand Cayman Islands for one week and we ate here twice. The food is amazing and is just a short drive from The Cottages (owned by the same person). You get a discount if you are staying at the Cottages Cayman. I highly recommend the restaurant and the resort!
