I really like most of the slices I’ve had here, cheese was great, grandma was great, margherita was great. Good size, sauce is flavorful, crust has a great texture. I prefer this place to the fancier one across the street. HOWEVER the spinach slice here was really bad, way too much spinach on it. I love vegetables usually but it’s a ridiculous amount.
The seating area is a little dingy but nothing terrible. This isn’t fine dining, get over it. Prices are reasonable if a bit high. Hours are fantastic, they’re always open when you need a quick bite. Solid neighborhood staple.

This place is upcharging customers, and hoping they don’t notice. The menu literally says $4.99 for a jalapeño pepperoni slice, but they tried to charge me $6.23, and they said it was because of “tax”. That’s 25% tax. When I complained and pointed out the clearly displayed price on their sign, the cashier said he’s just “doing what the owner said”. Then he pointed to a sign on the register that said “5% surcharge for credit cards”, but when I said I was paying with cash, he said it’s the same price either way. They said if I didn’t like the price(their incorrect price) I could leave. This place is straight up scamming customers. Do not go here! Other Little Italy pizza places in the city are actually good, so
I can only assume that this specific franchise on the Upper West Side is owned by someone else.

Bought a pepperoni and mushroom slice on two separate occasions. Slices were a generous NY slice with plenty of pepperoni and mushroom pieces and good cheese and sauce coverage with a 1/2” crust. The toppings were generous enough that there was a fair amount of flop but every bite was tasty. Big enough to make a meal out of the single slice. With tax the P&M slice was about $5.

Some pizzas are better than the others, overall pretty decent pizzas, slices could be a little bigger, that said, it’s fair value for money for NYC. As a tourist if you take a little longer to gather your bearings and order, the staff can be a little curt, especially the fellow at the till. They have a fair variety of pizzas, that’s why it can take a little longer to decide what you want if you are new to the place!

I work near this pizza shop and between McDonald’s and this establishment. it’s a eye sore and attract nearby high schoolers who crowd the side walk while people are going home and coming to work . And that’s not the worst part. I was working overnight overtime and walked into place and ordered a slice .the worker took the old slice from the display window and put it in the oven .even if this was the dollar slice it would be horrible but this one slice was 4$ unbelievable! . but they should lower the price or make it goumet because this in the middle stuff is weird. While I’m happy little Italy pizza responded to my review that shows they care and it’s more than most businesses but what they didn’t discuss was the pizza served to me from the display window and not fresh and worst the price point for the pizza is more than what these students can afford!.12 / 1 Significant improvement as far as the loitering in front of store 3 update 12/5 a new discount deal I noticed outside of this establishment . Good job little Italy pizza !

Stopped in last night. Out of about 40 tables 37 of them were covered in dirt & crumbs, another table had empty beer bottles. The floor was covered in dirt, crumbs, used napkins, pepperoni, you name it. 2 guys behind the counter, 1 was in charge of the pizza & working. The register guy just stood there switching between staring at the TV & his phone. Only 4 other customers inside. You’re gonna tell me there was no time to wipe down the tables & sweep? Filthy, lazy, unacceptable. And don’t blame the storm, simple cleaning does not take that much time. If that’s the front of house, imagine the back. Never again.

We’ve searched high and low for the best New York pizza and this is the most underrated spot. The sauce is fire, the crust is fire, their hours are amazing and they are open all the time. The name is little Italy, but the taste is BIG!

Still my favorite late night place in town. Open late – until 5am. Can’t resist the best deal in town. 2 large slices and a fountain drink for $6.95. Nice Thin crust with a good sauce and cheese. Always cooked to the point of bubbling cheese. No table service, just walk up to the counter and order. There are a few tables inside and outside. Super casual.

The smells of pizza draw you in. When you walk in the front door, see the pizza and prices you know you are in the right place.

The counter service happy and prompt. A++
The atmosphere is a pizza joint styled place. Grab a seat. Eat your pizza. Enjoy.

Not the best pizza in the city. Not even the best pizza in the UWS. HOWEVER, they have a very good pepperoni slice. I can’t speak to the other varieties they offer, but the pepperoni is almost always a solid bet that rivals some of the best in the city. I’m also a huge fan of how they have an extensive condiment station, one of the best in the city.
