This place sounded cool going in, and it definitely lived up to its name. The food was excellent, everyone in our group ordered omelets and they were all really well made and flavorful.

Service was decent overall. We didn’t get checked on very often and the interactions felt a bit short, but nothing outright negative, just not especially attentive.

The interior was the standout feature. The whole place has a fun 1950s diner vibe that really adds to the experience and makes it a memorable spot to eat.

Overall, a great themed place with awesome breakfast food and a unique atmosphere that’s worth checking out.

There’s really great breakfast to be had in Phoenix-and we are always up for trying new places. I was excited about this one after seeing it go viral. That being said…the highs were: it is a beautiful and clean space. Acoustics are not loud and echoing. Nice enough wait staff. The lows: food was just meh. Nothing extraordinary out of our four orders. Considering the prices of the dishes- we should have expected some WOW somewhere. And then parking- good luck! It’s non existent so we ended up valeting the car, assuming it would be validated with breakfast. When we were told they did not accommodate that, we knew this overall disappointing adventure was our last one here. I’m glad we tried it just so I can tell others to not bother. Better off at Vovomeena, Eggstacy, pretty much anywhere really. Too many great places to settle for mediocrity.

I loved the aviation theme. My wife and I had a dinner, a dessert, and breakfast here. it was all good. so for the dinner the wife had pulled pork mac and cheese which was creamy and nice. my wife loved it but I personally felt it needed a stronger cheese flavor to it. I had the charred jalapeño smash burger and I thought it was good nothing to rave about but quite good. The onion rings however were particularly tasty and I would have gladly just eaten them until I exploded. my biggest complaint here dinner wise would be the beer selection. I prefer malty amber ales and sweet roasty porters and stouts but there were none. there was a couple local beers available but they were still pale/blonde beers.

Dessert! I had a boozy peanut butter whiskey chocolate shake OMG it was so SO good. the wife had the tailspin sundae and I can’t remember if I tried that or not (I blame the boozy shake)

Breakfast: the wife had the churro pancakes with some extra eggs and a vanilla latte which we both found delicious. I had the chicken & waffles which I loved. I ate one of them sweet with syrup and the other savory/spicy with the gravy and the locally made red pepper sauce I got some extra bacon on the side which was crisp, and “bottomless diner coffee” I like the coffee well enough I had probably 4 refills of it so do with that info what you will. The manager made a big deal of us celebrating our anniversary and comped us some mimosas. the service for our dinner and breakfast was great. very attentive, friendly, and had good recommendations.

First time trying this place and it was really good. The wait time to be seated was not long at all and all the workers were very friendly. The food came out pretty quickly as well, and everything tasted freshly made; like everything is made in house. Definitely might come back again to try their other food items.

Dined as a party of 2 and overall enjoyed our breakfast. I was very appreciative that the server mentioned that the pancakes come with the option of one rather than a stack to allow two people to share something sweet while getting a more filling breakfast.
The breakfast burrito is a large portion great for sharing or for two meals.
The Top Gun Skillet is also super delicious, although the potatoes were overly crispy.
I will also note that the standard drip coffee is pretty weak.
The highlight was definitely the bananas foster pancake, the theming of the restaurant, and the open garage door on a nice day.

**Biggest complaint is when looking at the website they state they have a dress code with no graphic tees or athleisure and this was not enforced. Not an issue to me as it is a casual breakfast / lunch spot, I do not mind casual wear, but do not put something online you do not intend to enforce.

Our food was absolutely delicious and our waitress attentive and friendly. I didn’t quite get the f/16 reference though. Other than a few pics on the wall you wouldn’t have known the theme. It was beautifully appointed though.

Diner-style restaurant inside a newly opened hotel.

Menu had some solid options, and our server was super nice and welcoming. She told us the fried chicken was freshly breaded and fried in-house, so we were sold — even though it’s almost $30 for two pieces. I was a bit disappointed when I find traces of blood when I cut into the chicken. I ordered a lemonade with a dash of vanilla cream (which I’ve had elsewhere), but she looked at me like I had two heads and said they didn’t have cream.

The omelette was really good though — fluffy and flavorful. If the home fries were a bit crispier, it would’ve been perfect.

The W Hotel is right next door, and we honestly weren’t ready to see a naked man standing by his window but it was quite entertaining though.

Also, maybe because the hotel is new, someone from the property came by mid-meal to “check in” on us — which felt more weird and intrusive than thoughtful.

Our family stopped here for breakfast while on vacation. The atmosphere was great, including the outdoor patio where we sat. Breakfast was delicious with fresh flavors and quick service. The space felt relaxed and comfortable. We plan to be back on our next trip to Tempe.

Exceptional service, great concept, overpriced and underwhelming food.

Other than the fact that it was hard to find the entrance, the service was excellent and comparable to the East Coast. I say this bc in my experience Mountain states and SW states like AZ have relatively not poor service compared to the East and Mid Atlantic. Well done. My server was dope!!!

Great concept: we neeeeed more places like this in th PHX area and AZ, as we’ve suffered for years with boring chains and mundane concepts. So, thank you!!!

The churro pancakes, which is why I went, were a great concept and needed contribution to the breakfast world. Love that there’s an AZ twist given it’s churros. However the quality of the pancake….meh…okay at best.. They were far too “cakey,” beyond “fluffy.” When you have this kind of pancake batter with churro sugar, it’s makes for a really Dry pancake and unpleasant eating experience. Bc I love the restaurant and what they’re trying to do, I would kindly suggest making them smaller in both thickness and radius as this might help with not making for an over-dry experience. . Finally the apple butter that came with th se was cold and hard to spread which is annoying esp bc they’re dry pancakes.

The scrambled eggs: fluffy, really good but far too over priced. I say this bc I could have got these anywhere for cheaper.

The apple wood bacon. Really disappointed! They were very small and thin and overcooked! When you think of apple wood bacon you think of thick, juicy, flavorful bacon…not the case here. They were as good as store bought, pre-packaged bar-s bacon. Needs major work.

The habinaro sausage was the hit of the day!!!! Soooo guuuuud! Never had anything like it in terms of flavor and quality of meat. Keep going with this and things like this!

Th biscuits and jam. Good, but a tad too cakey but hard to notice. Overall, good. but what would make these better is a touch of butter tast to them, and a tad less cakey

The hash browns were small and nothing to write home about. Again, overpriced.

In all, if it wasn’t for a dope restaurant and food concepts and AZ needing better restaurants like this I would have given it a 1 star. But I gave it a 3 bc I want y’all to do well and see your place as a true service to AZ. Keep going but please improve. You have great breakfast concepts like the East or LA, but even those high-end places dont cost what you do, esp for the quality, recipe, and preparation of food.

I will be back, however, to try the omelettes and such. Much love and respect!:)

What a great surprise! F/Sixteen was everything that we wanted for breakfast and lunch. Their iced tea was freshly brewed and definitely stronger than most places! Parking was a little difficult to find but well worth it!
