GREAT GREAT GREAT. We found this place a few mi it as off the interstate. BEST fried clam strips ever with Homemade batter we ate as an appetizer. Note : catfish fried in same batter, not traditional corn meal, but it was great! Coleslaw & Potato salad has a very untraditional yet refreshing taste for this area. Blackened jumbo shrimp best ever. Steak cooked well and as soft as a ball of cotton !!!!! Fries and corn muffins great! All served on metal trays.

Wonderful little place! Friendly and attentive staff, amazing food and very reasonable prices make this a great eatery. Prices include the food, choice of 2 sides and a drink, which makes the listed prices, not low, but surely reasonable. I had blackened Mahi-Mahi that was tasty, but not too spicy. The side dishes are pretty much full-sized so the amount of food is quite filling. I had the banana Foster for dessert and it was delicious as well. Great find!

If you are looking for a restaurant with amazing food this is the place to go. I’ve been to many seafood restaurants but I’ve never had catfish as good as what they have here. The atmosphere isn’t the best but their food more than makes up for it. Please stop by and support this small business. You won’t be disappointed.

We had the opportunity to visit Z Fish House last evening and had a marvelous meal. The fried oysters were flavorful and the batter was light and flakey. The serving was so large, that I took a couple home with me, along with the hush puppies and slaw. Great meal! My wife had the grilled scallops, risotto and green beans. She has ordered this dish before and it seems to get better every time. Our server, Mariah, was a delight. Her welcoming spirit and attention to detail was perfect – always checking on us but not intrusive. She helped to make the evening a #1 experience! If you haven’t tried this little gem of a restaurant, you are missing one of the joys that the culinary world has to offer.

In the small TN town of Loudon is a very good seafood restaurant. The inspection score 99. The seafood very good along with slaw with pineapple. Please ck out the daily special board that is pictured here. I had red snapper. And it was a nice portion too.

Excellent food and quiant little location. The cuisine was amazing down to the sides and ingredients. Dont miss a chance to get some fresh seafood from here, being from Florida myself I always try to find as fresh possible. And that’s exactly what you get here! Will be back soon. Also pro tip: the clam chowder is the best I’ve had outside of New England so make sure you start off with that

When you think of seafood, cities such as Pensacola, Charleston, Savannah, and others come to mind. You can add Loudon to that list, thanks to Z Fish House. I’ve eaten at a number of really good seafood restaurants, and I’m pleased to say that Z Fish House is definitely one of them. The entire staff was very welcoming. Our server, Katey, was a total delight. I ordered a cup of lobster bisque, which was incredibly flavorful. For the main dish, I had fried shrimp, coleslaw, fries, and hushpuppies. Everything was excellent. I would highly recommend Z Fish House without hesitation to anyone looking for a fantastic all-around seafood dining experience.

We ordered the grouper po’ boy and the fried shrimp po’boy. Best we’ve had in Tennessee. Buttery, toasted, warm bread, fresh catch- not mushy-, and delicious sides of seasoned fries, coleslaw (vinegar/mayo based), and veggie of the day- today’s was summer squash with onions and zucchini. Free beverages come with every meal. Helpful servers and clean. Stop by for a delicious lunch!

I’m updating my review The restaurant has gone from four stars to five in my mind. Best calamari in Tennessee. Clam chowder was incredible. I need to come back and try the lobster roll. Keep up the great work!
