Reviews
My eggs Benedict came overcooked, the pancake was raw, and the potatoes were old, dry, and tasteless.
The waitress was very friendly when we complained about the pancake and kindly offered to replace it, but we said no and still paid.
Way too expensive for the poor quality of the food.
I’ve had amazing eggs Benedict for $13 that were fresh and flavorful!
I do not recommend this restaurant.
I visited your establishment with positive expectations, but unfortunately, the meal I received fell far below the quality standard one should expect from a restaurant like Junior’s.
The main issues were:
1. Turkey and Pastrami Sandwich: The sandwich was completely flavorless. The meat slices seemed of low quality and lacked the characteristic taste expected from good pastrami and turkey.
2. Bread: The bread served was cold and soggy, giving the impression it had been stored improperly or was not fresh. This completely ruined the texture and enjoyment of the meal.
3. Side Items (Pickles and Coleslaw): This was the most unpleasant part. Both the pickles and the coleslaw had a chemical, off-putting aftertaste, similar to soap. The flavor was so strong and unpleasant that they were inedible. This raises serious concerns about hygiene in the washing, storage, or preparation process of these items.
Considering Junior’s reputation and the prices you charge, this experience was entirely unacceptable. We paid for a quality meal and received a product that not only failed to meet basic expectations of flavor and freshness but also presented an anomalous and worrisome taste.
What I expect:
I believe feedback like this is important for the continuous improvement of your business.I would like to know what steps management intends to take to investigate this incident – especially regarding the off taste of the side items – and to prevent other customers from having a similar experience.
I await your response and a proposal for how you intend to compensate for the disappointment and the value paid for a meal we could not even enjoy.
The biggest issue was that the food was arriving before rhe server could accommodate other offers or requests so it seemed to cause her to fumble what she was supposed to be doing and what moment.
Complimentary pickled beets? Awesome. The pickles, not so much. They tasted and smelled like nutmeg. It was a very odd combination.
Over all though, good experience.
