Poppyseed Kitchen is such a cute and cozy place to eat! Our server, Haleigh, made sure we felt comfortable and satisfied with our food. We let them know that we’re Deaf customers, and she knew a few signs which made our visit even more pleasant and welcoming! They even brought out a Deaf employee to meet us, which was such a thoughtful and cool gesture.

I ordered the grits with shrimp, and my boyfriend had the ranch hash, both dishes were absolutely delicious! My matcha latte was made to perfection, smooth and balanced just the way I like it.

Before we left, we couldn’t resist grabbing a pumpkin cheesecake danish and an apple pie croissant to enjoy later; can’t wait to dig into those!

Overall, it was a wonderful experience with great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere for the Deaf community. Highly recommend checking them out!

This place is an absolute gem. If you are looking for the perfect family friendly restaurant this is it. We were passing through town, only 20 minutes from Charlotte, it’s worth the drive. Everything is fresh & delicious. My pants feel a little tighter but in the best way.

We started with some pastries, sat on the outside patio with kids games. I ordered the brisket hash and my husband had biscuits and gravy. The kids had the poppy pancakes and we were saying we wished we lived closer because it all was that good.

The table next to us also got the brisket hash and kept raving about it. The sauce on the brisket is delicious and also not too heavy.

On top on how great the food, you can tell this restaurant is owned by a family. They had a table you can grab games and the bathroom had a changing table and a step-stool. Having a step-stool is very exciting for our 3 year old.

We got extra pasties to bring home for our 3 hr drive and so happy we made this stop.

Please open one in South Florida.

I dont think you get a Better spot than poppyseed kitchen. I came in for a late breakfast/ brunch and was greeted by the hostess and sat at their bar so I could bypass the 35 minute wait. Now had I had to wait 35 minutes it would have still been well worth the wonderful food that I got. My waitress Lauren was very personable and checked on me plenty of times to feel satisfied. Now the food I got was breakfast poutine and a pancake sandwich with a side of French toast. Everything was super delicious and I wanted to order more but I was so full. I also had a bloody mary beer that was pretty satisfying. The coffee ☕️ was amazing. If your in this area and considering coming here. Don’t give it another thought and come immediately to have a flavorful breakfast/ brunch experience. If this resturaunt is out of the way take a drive like I did from Pineville to have some of the best mix of flavors you could have for an early meal.

We enjoyed the food, the service and the family atmosphere. Lauren did a great job preparing our drinks. Our server Sabriyah also did a great job taking our order and checking on us from time to time.
It’s good to find a place that offers a variety of coffee drinks, pastries and meals that include vegan options and non-dairy milk alternatives. Thank you.

A bit out of the way, but definitely worth the trip. The food was really well done and nicely presented, and the coffee was solid and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place that feels intentional and relaxed. A good spot to slow down and enjoy a quality meal and cup of coffee.

Decided to try Poopyseed Kitchen for lunch. When we got there we were seated very fast for how busy it was in the restaurant. As soon as we were seated the waitress came around for drinks orders, and kept checking on us if we needed anything. Great service! I had the French American with fruit. It was a big croissant with bacon, 2 hard fried eggs, and cheese. It filled me up! A big sandwich for a good price. If you don’t mind circling the parking lot more than once for a parking space, then this is your spot for breakfast or lunch. Once you’ve tasted the food you will not be disappointed at all!

Awesome little breakfast and lunch spot in Fort Mill.

Extremely friendly and tentative staff, you don’t see that too often.

Lively place that is welcoming and fun.

I stopped in and got the BLT with the potato hash. Incredible and high quality ingredients. I grabbed one of their pastries to go, I couldn’t help myself.

Locally owned and managed. You can tell a lot has been poured into this place.

Highly recommend give it a shot !

Very seriously the best breakfast I’ve ever had. I came here with my 7 year old for brunch, and although there was a long wait, it was completely worth it.

Everything was delicious. I would come back for the potatoes alone! SO good. I loved that the eggs had just a pinch of fresh herbs on them and the bacon was crisp and yummy. It had a nice hickory flavor that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Also, absolutely loved that there were small tables games and toys available for children/families. A definite game changer when coming out with young children. My daughter and I enjoyed playing with the magnatiles and making a “princess castle.”

Loved the bakery items for sale as well- ordered the blueberry muffin and a cinnamon bun to go, both were fresh and tasty. I would highly recommend giving this place a try and can’t wait to come back here!

OMG this place is a hidden treasure!!!! Breakfast was amazing and the pastries were top notch!! It can get pretty busy on a Saturday morning but they get you in pretty quick and the service was great!!!! The food came timely for the amount of people that were there and the croissants were huge!! We will definitely make the trip back to fort mill just to try this again!!! The sweet toast was also delicious but as you can see from the absence of that from my photos I consumed that before I could get a picture lol

It is the best place for breakfast and brunch in Fort Mill. I 100% recommend this restaurant. You can notice a very harmonious, peaceful and family atmosphere. The employees are super friendly and humble. The owners are exceptional. The food is prepared with the best and freshest ingredients.
