I came an hour before closing but the hostess was real nice. Did not know they had a little bar area. Overall I appreciate they cook the food as soon as you order it and its fresh and hot. Really enjoyed the wings but I really like the small little setting. Will come back again.

My family and I pulled up and ordered the fried catfish with fries and mild sauce, plus the 10-piece shrimp with sauce. Everything came out fresh, hot, and seasoned to perfection. The catfish was crispy with that perfect flaky inside, and the shrimp had that golden crunch you want every single bite!! And let’s talk about the mild sauce on the fries… next level!
On top of that, the service was top-tier. Friendly staff, quick turnaround, and you can tell they care about doing things right. It’s always good to see a spot in Albany serving quality food with great energy. Definitely worth the stop. We’ll be back for more!

Harold’s is a staple in Chicago and I had to try it out. I was greeted as soon as I walked the the door. Someone walked me through the me. She was very welcoming and sweet. The atmosphere was very nice. I loved seeing aspects of black culture throughout the restaurant.
And the food was AMAZING!!! I ordered a beef pizza puff with wings and fries. The pizza puff was flavorful, light and flaky!! The wings were packed with flavor and paired with the mild sauce….Whew I was in heaven!! The food brought back a nostalgia feeling. Reminded me of the food I used to eat all the time back in Chicago. If you’re looking for real authentic Chicago cuisine, I would definitely give them a try!!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Harold Chicken since the early 70s growing up on the south side of Chicago perhaps eating there hundreds of times throughout my lifetime. I must say you all are in for a for a treat here in Albany Ga. . …. Whole chicken wings not half’s seasoned to perfection . Sense moving to Ga. I’ve stopped eating fried foods , Harold’s chicken is a treat I can’t live without. Peace ❤️

The staff and owner were very nice but they got to work on this food. This was my visit. I ordered from kiosk. The kiosk show you a picture of food. The pictures on the screen is very deceptive because the biscuits are more like beignets they were very good when hot but I was expecting real biscuits like the picture showed. My catfish and shrimp dinner was disgusting very greasy and the fries were half cooked and soggy. The grease needed changing my food tasted like it was cooked in old grease. In addition the catfish and shrimp was too salty as well. I ordered 2 chicken wings as well no seasoning at all. I am very disappointed in this restaurant. There definitely needs to be improvement. I spent $31 and the trash can ate all of it except the beignets.

Nicole was very professional. The food was great. I ordered the catfish nuggets and fries. My mother got the 3 piece wings and fries dinner. She stated everything was seasoned and cook well.
