I ordered the rib tip dinner. It came with two sides and surprisingly two pieces of bread. The okra was fried perfect and not soggy. The sweet potatoes were firm and not mushy, soupy. I had gizzards and SURPRISINGLY they were tender and not chewy. The rib tips were tender and not pre boiled. Overall, I am impressed with the quality and taste of the food. I am definitely excited to try other items on the menu.

1. Brisket dinner with beans & sweet potatoes
The brisket was so tender and moist, the beans were next level with ground beef and green peppers & the sweet potatoes OMG (Grandma would be proud)
2. Catfish dinner with mac & cheese & sweet potatoes
The catfish was 2 large pieces fried to perfection, mac & cheese was flavorful
3. Wings dinner with mac & cheese & fries
All I can say about the wings is 8 is not enough, those wings are so Good
Cornbread muffins had the perfect balance of butter & honey
Vanilla pound cake YUMMY!!

I don’t think you understand. This place is SO GOOD. I came here for the first time six months ago and have been dreaming/thinking/salivating about this bbq ever since. Made the drive from Wisconsin (yep. that good.) this weekend to get my fix and it did not disappoint. Great food. Even better people.

Top 3 best BBQ I’ve ever had, you know if they are using a barrel smoker, its gunna be incredible. They didn’t disappoint, the steak tips were amazing, the pork chop was super flavorful and every side we got was equally as delicious! Highly recommend if you’re visiting the area and need a lunch spot! My partied sampled all of the desserts and those were all a hit but the Strawberry Crunch Cake was my favorite! If I could give them more stars I would. It doesn’t look like much out front but dont be fooled, it’s top notch!

Laura and Joe were super friendly reviews posted prior to mine are definitely legit. Food was beyond 5stars 10/10 we happened to be in the area all the way from Chicago and we are super glad we stumbled across this establishment! Absolutely the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever had tender, flavorful, and perfectly smoked. The mac and cheese was creamy and rich, and the coleslaw had just the right crunch and tang. Everything was on point!

We were in town to look at a vehicle and googled food near me and im glad this is where we went!! Gentlemen greeted us and let us know we came to the right place! My fiance and I ordered a combo, Catfish filet with chicken tips, fries and coleslaw and I ordered the same but catfish nuggets. We wait about 15min and the gentleman walked our food over and everything was fresh, hot!! My fiance is hard to please when it comes to food let alone catfish and he said it was fire “not that fake catfish” 10/10 would recommend! We also are from Fort Wayne.
