This restaurant is one of the best places for Indian authentic dishes. But i had a bad experience with recent order. Meat in Thalapakatti Mutton biryani was over roasted and biryani rice tasted like a burnt rice. My other order is Chicken sukka biryani. When i ordered this dish last month it tasted well but in recent order, it came with different flavor and does not match with my previous order. I dont know if the order is misplaced or was served with common biryani flavor for all Biryani dishes.

Needed to stop into the grocery side, but decided to get lunch first. The owner and regulars were sweet and helped me get some vegan options! The owner had the kitchen make me some roti (best I’ve ever had) plus another dish. Then from the prepared counter a couple of other dishes. All for less than $11! So if you are looking for a no-fuss, friendly, quick meal try it out!
Also the grocery side has a great selection of spices and unique Indian snacks. I’ll definitely be back!

I hesitatly tried the Creamy Japan Paneer for the very first time, I don’t like a lot of spice and found it to be surprisingly good with the selected mild spice. It was very pricey for the small portion they called an appetizer. No suggestion of how or what to eat with either.

A bit overpriced. Want a $5 cauliflower (not even organic) go here , $3 lb carrots, turnips, peppers and radishes, sells goat meat (mind you, telling caller, “oh yes, everything is Halal”). So what about non Muslims? Oh, cooked, take out food too. Good luck…

An okay grocery store. I like the variety of spices, lentils, and snacks, but the aisles feel cramped and prices vary. Not bad, not great—just an average shopping experience.

Apna cafe daily special food items are very unique compared to the regular menus in other restaurants and taste most flavorful. Thanks for bringing lot of best menus to Louisville.

Outstanding buys on produce here! Fresh lemons are $1 for 5 ! They have fresh ginger, cilantro, sweet potatoes, and beautiful halal meats! Spices are incredibly reasonable. Wonderful selection of incense & other Indo/Pak items including beauty products! Nice, small store, easy access and parking. They welcomed my service dog – thank you!

Pretty good Indian grocery store. They have all you need to create good Indian dishes. The vegetable selection is good. The store is not very big, but has plenty of products. The cooked samosas look really good. Prices are slightly higher compared to other cities. Still worth visiting if you really want authentic Indian products.
