I had a very unpleasant experience today at Sonic . 3702 Queens BLVD location. An employee John was very rude and unprofessional. Another employee, George was very nice and apologetic. Wont go there again. Will spend my money elsewhere. This young man is disrespectful. Needs customer service training. He will meet the wrong person and God forbid, it wont go well.

It’s clean the service was great. The tenders aren’t so great but the onion rings are amazing. The burgers are mediocre but the service is amazing. The music is great a lot of seating.

I was here on 12/28 and I went here and it was empty the cashier was nice and within 5 minutes I got my order.
I ordered double cheeseburger meal and a side of mozzarella sticks. The food was good and made well
It got a little busy when I was eating but it seemed like the orders were made at a fast pace so that’s good

Came here from the Bronx , ver excited to try sonic for the first time and good to say it did not disappoint, was a bit oily but it’s okay w me. The staff are nice and friendly. Even the atmosphere is very chill and the store is kinda empty by the time I went.

The place is clean they graded “A” with the inspections. Some staff are friendly and some are not. The food sometimes are newly made then sometimes not because we will be getting the old tater tots that is so dried up and hard.
They don’t have their own parking area but you can park on the street sides.

The second Sonic in NYC and the first in Queens! The food was tasty and fresh with a clean, modern interior, friendly service, and unique menu items.
First off, the burger. The burger was a solid burger. I got a plain double cheeseburger with only onions. The onions were fresh and the burger tasted fresh too. The bun was an average bun but good quality. It’s a step above McDonald’s but not earth shattering. I would say an above average fast food burger.
I ordered the tater tots with the combo and let me tell you, they. Where. Amazing. Crispy exterior, right amount of salt, and just a unique menu item that I really appreciated as they were so good and really no one else has that.
For comparison, I did order fries also. The fries were meh, kinda average, nothing too special. They could have used a little more salt, but still nothing to write home about. Below average for a fast food place.
I also ordered the mozzarella sticks, another pretty unique menu item. Only White Castle has them too I think. They were delicious and came out hot, crispy on the outside and stretchy on the inside. PERFECT! Above average rating for these!
Also ordered, was the pretzel twist. Another unique menu item to try. Ok, who thought it was a good idea to put that much salt on it. I took a bite just to see and yep, wayyyyyy too much salt. After I took a lot of the salt off and dipped it in the cheese sauce, it was quite a bit better. That being said, it still fell a little flat. Just didn’t have a lot of taste and while the cheese added to the flavor, it wasn’t a fantastic quality of cheese in my opinion. I was hoping for an auntie Ann type. Below average menu item!
Lastly, the cherry slushy! Unique menu item and it tasted great! Bold flavor and the ice really stayed for a while. Top quality slushy! I want to try more flavors! Bonus points for finding a maraschino Cherry at the bottom! Above average!

Listen. I am a huge fast food lover. Dare I say, I’m connoisseur of fast food. Just tried Sonic and it was absolutely DISGUSTING. The fries taste like you’re literally drinking oil 🙁

Sonic has been “my place to go” for short orders for years. I always yearned for a Sonic Blast or a Cookie Dough Ice Cream. At other locations they’re very stingy with the cookie dough and never mix it in. Carlos made sure there was more than enough cookie dough and added some more to the top. Never been this satisfied with a sweet tooth craving. Every bite I took there was a mouthful of cookie dough. Will be back for sure, hope to be served by Carlos again!

Would not recommend. Comparing to other fast food, I would easily pick McDonald’s or Wendy’s over this. I would say it’s somewhere on par with Burger King.

Cons: burger patty is thin / dry / does not taste fresh at all, fries are dry and have unpleasant tang, decor is lacking – they could really lean into the classic burger chain look if their distinguishing feature is the “drive-in” (at other locations)

It was amazing! I especially loved their Bacon Double Cheeseburger, with lettuce only; no tomatoes, no onions and no pickles! And their fries was delicious! And when I got back on line, I ordered the Reese’s Peanut Butter Blast, to go! And I saved it until I got on the 4 and it started to melt!
