This small sit down café is a wonderful place to catch up with old friends or have a great lunch or dinner meal. Also Scott’s offers a variety of ice cream.

Burger was out of this world huge!! Fries were HOT. Didn’t expect it to be as little as it was but food was great. Place got busy too.

This is a great little local owned spot. The food isn’t top chef. It’s a greasy spoon diner. Exactly what you want when you want a burger or a dog or ice cream.

Have been several times now. Service isn’t great, but they aren’t rude. Dinning area is clean, but old and kind of chaotic. The food is good.

Burgers: greasy and well cooked. Could use some seasoning, but over all good.

Dogs: Chili is decent, and they pile it on. Two dogs will fill you. Shoot, one will do.

Tried the deep fried burger.. surprisingly good. I really enjoyed it.

Pros: cheap greasy good food

Cons: staff isn’t overly friendly

Wow what a great burger and fries! Seasoned! Both of them! So much flavor! Could use an update on interior but with a 100 on inspection don’t let it deter you! Folks were very friendly and helpful.

I bought 2 sandwiches, fry and ice cream yesterday. I put one sandwich in the refrigerator for today for my lunch. I opened my sandwich and there was mayo, lettuce, mustard on the bread. I didn’t understand what happened to my meat, onions and bacon. I thought I ask for 2 turkey sandwiches, one was a club which had bacon also on it. I went to show him the sandwich, he said no bacon was ordered. I said okay but what happened to my turkey and onions? I ask for that without tomatoes or pickles. He said he put the meat on my other turkey sandwich. I said what did you say. He repeated that it was on the other sandwich. I’d never heard anything like that, it didn’t make sense, I said okay and threw the bread out. I called for my card to resolve this for me. Never again will I order or enter this location. I’ve never ordered a sandwich where the meat and toppings weren’t on the sandwich, but on the other sandwich. The rest of you, enjoy!

The food here Is great. The big C burger is out of this world. The prices are reasonable. Diffinantly one of the best burgers in town. The owner are on-site and very nice. This is a must visit.

Honestly, it really feels different since the ownership has changed hands. I really used to love the burgers.. they were juicy and delicious. Now they are just… OK.
And the place could be cleaner and better organized. ?placement of freezers and food etc.

Possibly one of the worst burger-fry combos I’ve had in years across the country, not just in Knoxville. Mind you, the Big C Cheeseburger, curly fries and a fountain drink were over $16 and I was asked to tip as well. The burger was overcooked and dry. And mind you, it was one of those large pre-made patties about 4″ in diameter. But was only graced with 2 slices of cheap American cheese that neither covered the entire burger or was melted. The bun was stale and not even heated. Topping were minimal. 2 slices of tomato smaller than the cheese and not even enough mayo or mustard to counter the stale bun. Lettuce? A miniscule pinch of shredded lettuce – enough to say its technically on the burger. The order of curly fries was meager for the $4 that I paid and I couldn’t even finish them. Halfway into them I started picking up about 4 other flavors ranging from fish to mushrooms or whatever else they fry there. And for all that, you only get one refill on the overpriced fountain drink.

Mind you, I was the first customer they had for the day and even told them it was my first time to the establishment. And when I brought these concerns to the owner, he got defensive nor was there any attempt to placate my poor experience.

I could get over the rundown nature of the store if it was decent food but that doesn’t get close. Its haphazard inside, and they still have some massive covid plexiglass up at the register plastered in makeshift signage. To the point you cant even see who you’re having a conversation with. Won’t get any return business from me.
