I question the bad reviews. The portions alone are something to write home about. The gyro combo could have fed 2 – 4 people whom are not glutenous. Lord knows I didn’t need to eat that whole plate by myself.
The fries were seasoned just right. The gyro was more like a gyro boat, with both hands needed to pick it up without the contents pouring out. Much better than any fast food drive thru.
The service was wonderfully prepared and brought out to us promptly. Thank you and may God continue to bless you and your service to the community.

The place is okay and the food is fine but the options they offer are ridiculously limited and the owner is very rude. Their menu’s are outdated snd anything down to just asking for a simple cup of ranch is $1.50.
The real deal breaker for this place is when I asked for the buffalo wings to have the sauce placed on the side and the owner just refused. They have plain wings on the menu but hides the fact that she chooses not to do that anymore.
While she is free to do whatever with her restaurant, it is still odd. Especially since the prices aren’t cheap.

I hate to say this because the staff was nice, but never get a sub from here! Literally 4 pieces of thinly sliced meat ( it was not even a serving size of meat, had to be less than 2 ounces) and a non existent piece of cheese on stale bread. Veggies were pitiful and stale too. Nothing “fresh” about these sandwiches. Tastes like you’re eating a loaf of dry bread with no meat and it’s a complete rip off, they should be ashamed of themselves. i can’t believe they skimp on the meat worse than Subway lol. My husband likes the gyros but my kid had schnitzel and it tasted like soap, had a funky cleaning product taste. I won’t be back for sandwiches from this place again, I wish I’d have seen the other review with pictures of the sandwich because that’s exactly what mine looked like. Pitiful.

If I could give zero stars I would. Never ever again. This place is absolutely disgusting. We purchased 3 meals and it was over $40. I got a French dip. Literally 4 pieces of meat and 1 piece of cheese. She cut the sub in half with the foil on so there were chunks of foil in my sandwich. Grabbed a pop out of the cooler and also a mini bag of chips….all our chips were expired and also my can of pop.

Went here today to get subs for my children, ended up having to purchase 4 kids meals paying a total of 21$ because the subs were so small. Do not recommend at all. Also, mentioned it to cashier, and response was ‘i just work here.’

Chicago gyros and California fresh subs are one restaurant! They share employees and space. I ate from the gyros section, the lamb salad and a side of hummus with pita. The pitas were warm and toasted but the hummus was so dry that it was pastey… No bueno. The salad was huge! Two could’ve shared. The salad was fresh and the meat was good. I wouldn’t order again only because it was really dry, the sauce was tziki-which was thick and great, but not on a salad. Not too much traffic and food comes out pretty fast. I’d return, but if like to try the subs next time. Convenient location next to Walmart parking lot and mapco gas station. Clean facility and service.

I highly recommend the bulgogi gyro. The meat was cooked to perfection and was delicious. The gyro was huge and had so much stuff in it and was very filling. I highly recommend this place and is so worth the price for the amount of food you get along with the tastiness. The employees were super friendly and helpful.
