Tried this Thai restaurant for the first time and had a lovely experience overall! The food was flavorful and fresh, and the service was excellent, our server was extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The only slight letdown was the chocolate lava cake, which didn’t quite meet our expectations, but everything else made up for it. We really enjoyed our visit and would come back again!

Fantastic restaurant with great spices and a classic Thai menu. I loved the red curry and my wife loved the pad thai

Tried their food truck at a festival. The plate presentation did not inspire confidence at first BUT that first bite was out of control. So much flavor, so much juice, perfectly cooked. Definitely super worth it! Two thumbs up from me.

The spring roll and red curry are tasty.
The house salad tasted very weird, especially the tomatoes.
We also ordered pad se ew. The noodles had a weird taste, and as well as other ingredients. The chicken inside had a weird taste but we didn’t taste the same in red curry. We felt very disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aroy-D, The Thai Elephant in Verona, New Jersey, on a cold and windy February evening. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Thai cuisine.
To start, we ordered the fried tofu appetizer, which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was served with a flavorful peanut sauce that perfectly complemented the tofu. It was a great start to the meal and definitely whetted my appetite for the main course.
For my main course, I opted for the tofu drunken noodles, which were simply divine. The noodles were perfectly cooked and had just the right amount of spice. The tofu was well-seasoned and added a nice texture to the dish. It was definitely one of the best noodle dishes I’ve had in a long time.
We also ordered the veggie curry, which was a delicious blend of vegetables and spices. The curry sauce was rich and creamy, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. It was a great complement to the noodles, and I was pleasantly surprised by how filling the meal was.
For dessert we split the mango sticky rice, it was delicious and beautifully garnished with a strawberry.
Overall, I had an amazing dining experience at Aroy-D, The Thai Elephant. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. If you’re in the Verona area and looking for some delicious Thai food, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant. I give it 5 stars!

Moved from nyc. Trying to find decent Thai food in the area. Gave this place a try. The basil fried rice tasted like Uncle Ben’s Cajun rice. The rice was overcooked and had ingredients not in the dish. This 100% was an end of night reheated dish with basil added to it. Unfortunate since the curry was the more flavorful that we have had in the area. The drunken noodles were dry. Very disappointing.

Be careful with the spicy level!!! We came back for the dream place after moving. As usual, We ordered drunken nooodle for mild and Pad Pak. However, the noodle is much spicy than before and Pad Pak is too salty. A bit disappointed since we travel back particular for this place. Not sure if they charge the chef, just be careful if you are not tolerant with spicy
