We were not very pleased with this visit. They were only offering thin crust pizza. It took about 45 minutes for us to get our food. The pizza had numerous bubbles all over it, not much cheese, & some slices didn’t even have pepperoni. Some of the major were dry & hard around the edges. The first pitcher of beer was warm. The dining area temperature was at 85 degrees. It looked like someone came in to check the thermostat and temperature dropped to 80 degrees. Wish I could have positives things to say since we do come to this location as a family quote often.

This place is severely understaffed and lacking; I only count two people, a cashier and a cook. The pizzas were overcooked and dry. The noodles are overcooked and soggy. The mojos are dry and brittle. The chicken is dark and burnt.
While I understand the staffing shortage, I think the management needs to help and assign more staff to this location.
The food is hard, dry, and grease.
The presentation was terrible, they cooked it way beforehand and left it out.

I know it’s hard to think about eating at a buffet during these times. However, I had to try to bunch of lunch buffet after smelling the delicious pizza scent in the air. I noticed it was a little empty yet saw the employee swiping everything down nonstop. It put me at ease and the pizza and mojos were so good. Nostalgia took me to a happy place and the variety was great. Veggie, traditional pepperoni, hawian, and meat pizza were on my plate. The chicken was on point and the mojos were so crispy. Had to hit the salad bar to give myself some balance on the meal. You can’t go wrong when the eating area, drinking fountain, salad bard, and food line are constantly sanitized. Definitely going back soon. Thank you guys for the hard work and delicious meal.

It was very poor. Food was cold. It felt as if they were limited on items. Had to wait for plates. So basically there also very short on personal. The containers where the food goes, some were empty. 9nly had acouple of slices of pizza, and I went during the buffer. So it felt like not enough food. Finally when I went to the back with my grandson, no one was there to redeem the tickets. We also has problems with the play machines. No I was not happy at all!!!

The staff was very nice and helpful, restuarant was very clean as was their restrooms. I remember growing up Shakey’s had a pizza call “California Pizza” my parents use to get this pizza all the time as kids we didn’t enjoy but after a few pieces it was my go to pizza, this was also a way for us to eat our veggies. They don’t serve this pizza anymore, after I gave this big talk about the pizza to my wife (who never had it) and was told, sorry we don’t serve that pizza anymore, you’re the second person today who ask about that pizza.
The mojos are never a disappointment they’re known for them and fried chicken too if you haven’t tried their bunch a lunch you should, it gives you the opportunity to try all different kinds of pizzas they have on their menu. It was a great visit with family and friends can’t wait to go again.

Although the ingredients on the pizza we’re all very good, the crust was not that great. Everything in the buffet was surprisingly good (though the chicken is greasy).
Avoid the arcade if you are a prize seeker. There was a discrepancy between how many tickets I won and how many the ticket eater said I won.

Went here with my daughter and her family. Pizza wasn’t too bad. Granddaughter played in playroom which wasn’t too great needs work. But then we saw a roach on the wall! I let the cashier know when we were leaving. I don’t think I’ll ever go back here!

It wasn’t as good as it use to be. I think it was the BBQ chicken was too dry(that’s why they drowned it in sauce). Pizza assortment was good. They made a vegetarian pie for me cuase I can’t have mushrooms. There salad bar was good too.

Fiance and I were here Sat. 10/10/2020. Food was Very Fresh Hot and Delicious.
*Due to Covid-19, They are definitely keeping things SAFE & SANITIZED. They have chairs and tables set up outside. Social Distance in affect. It was a nice Sunny day. Not too hot. Service was Good. They were also open for take-out. Thanks for Everything Shakey’s. God Bless.

Went there for bunch a lunch buffet and pretty disappointed. I’ve been to a few different Shakey’s for lunch and the selection of salad and types of pizza’s made ready to eat for buffet are not that great. The veggie pizza and garlic bread were hard as croutons. The one in Rosemead and Covina are definitely better choices.
