I placed an order to go and it was only going to take 15 minutes. I only have a 30 minute lunch break. The place is kind of small but friendly staff but when I got there, there was 15 people literally in front of me and I had to wait 30 minutes to get my food that was sitting there getting cold on a $70 order that I placed the food was good even though it was cold and the service is good. They just need two cash registers or a place where people that call in food can come right ahead and pay and get their food instead of waiting 30 minutes so I was 20 minutes late back from lunch, but other than that the food was pretty good

Everything was literally perfect! If I could describe the food I would say it reminds me of the movie, soul food. You can tell everything is cooked with love. The food is top tier! The service is fast and the hospitality is amazing. I will definitely make this a frequent place I eat at.

Yall, the Pokey D burger is an absolute field trip of flavors! The slaw and bbq sauce was only made tastier by the burgers juiciness. I consider myself an expert burger chef and there are few burgers I yield to. This burger was HOT, juicy, flavorful and BIG! Their menu is packed with delicious offerings. I’m so glad they located so close to home. The vibe in the restaurant is welcoming and upbeat. It’s family friendly and plenty of great cakes on the menu to satisfy any kid. I’m sure the red velvet would have been outstanding but I was stuffed from the burger. Keep up the great work Pokey D’s and I’ll see you soon.

I’ve been to Pokey’s 2 several times since it opened here in Maumelle. I must say, I haven’t been disappointed yet! The place is clean, and the food is freshly cooked. The service staff is very friendly and helpful. Keep in mind this is not a fast-food restaurant! So expect them to take a little time to prepare your order. In my opinion, this is the best new restaurant in our area.

Pokey D’s 2 is that rare spot where you walk in hungry and walk out wondering if you should write the staff a thank-you card. The food is that good. Every dish tastes like someone in the back said, “Let’s make sure nobody ever forgets this meal.” The portions are generous, the flavors are ridiculous in the best possible way, and the choices make you question why every restaurant doesn’t operate at this level.
