I have been to Caribbean & Soule several times over the past few years, and they never disappoint. I had the jerk chicken entree with two sides: Beans and rice and plantains. All of the food was fresh and delicious! I think I am going to be adventurous and try the goat next time! Definitely visit this place if you want great food and large portions at a reasonable price.

I was visiting from out of town and, on a whim, asked the front desk staff if there were any Jamaican restaurants nearby. To my surprise, Caribbean and Soule popped up during a quick Google search—and I’m so glad it did!

From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted. While waiting for my takeout order, I enjoyed the vibrant and culturally rich images on the walls, which really added to the atmosphere. The food was delicious—so good that my family wanted to go back another day, but unfortunately, they had already closed by the time we decided that’s what we wanted to eat.

I also really appreciated their support of local events like The Recharge Gospel Conference; they had flyers on the tables for patrons to view, which shows they care about community engagement.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for flavorful Caribbean food and a welcoming vibe!

I got the Curry goat. Spice was just right and the meat was very flavorful and tender. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. The collards were seasoned and cooked perfectly as well as the rice n beans being fresh and tasty. Everything was delicious. Ms.Carli is a wonderful person and made great conversation and made me feel so very welcomed. I can’t wait to come back and try more menu offerings.

The service was really good. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food was just ok for me. It was way too salty for my taste. I don’t know if it was off day or that’s the norm. The rice was good, the beef patty was good as well. The jerk chicken didn’t have that spicy kick I was looking for and it tasted more like a dry season blend instead of the traditional wet marinade. The portions are nice sized. The price point is a bit pricey but I guess its ok for the area. All in all it was a nice experience. The restaurant was clean and inviting.

Mediocre. Don’t waste your time! I thought I’d give it a try – very disappointed!! Not worth the (costly) price!! The rice was overcooked to mushy. The plantains did not taste or look fresh, probably reheated. What really shocked me was when I told the owner about the rice, she rambled on about why it ended up being overcooked, instead of offering to replace it or ask if there was anything else she could offer to make up for it. ‍♀️ Talk less and focus on providing quality food and customer service! Talk about ripping people off – oh well?! ‍♀️The place was not very clean/did not appear well maintained either.

The food was almost inedible. The rice was extremely overcooked, like a pasty dry substance . The shrimp curry had such a strong pepper taste that it burnt my throat.

I’ve had Jamaican food before but this is the worst experience ever. I will not recommend this place.

I walked in late night without realizing they were closed and forgot to lock the door. I was greeted with open arms as they insisted on being able to feed me!! I was very appreciative of the kindness of the staff, they made my night with their hospitality and the amazing food. I have been here many times and the food is amazing, definitely will be back and you should too! Oxtail was 10/10

You know those great little hole-in-the-wall-mom-and-pop shops that are a secret gem you must try? Well, this is one of them. We stopped by for some comfort food, and this was indeed comforting. We ordered the goat and a meat patty. Both were delicious and beautifully flavored. The goat was tender, mild, and seasoned well. The meat patty was spiced just perfectly. I’ve had it elsewhere, but they’ve always been a little plain and too doughy. The ones here have a nice, flaky crust that’s cooked through. The owner is also a lovely, pleasant lady who gave us great service. Very warm and mind people.

After driving all day from New Orleans, Boy was I hungry but believe me when I tell you Caribbean & Soule Restaurant did not miss with these Oxtails, Rice & Peas, and Greens. All the food had flavor and needed nothing extra. I did put sone hot sauce on my greens because that’s what I like. Had to get my favorite flavor when it comes to drinks Ms. Carli was very nice and friendly with her customer service! So that was a Double Win for me. I would go back again to try something else.
