Loved our experience!

Many years ago I went to the old location for brunch. This was my first time at the new location. It’s really neat!

The food was so good! I loved the Barbie drink. My friends loved what that had, too!

One other thing I liked was how helpful everyone was. We had a waitress but we asked another lady for something, she didn’t act like it was a bother to get it. They all worked well together and it’s always refreshing to see.

Stopped in specifically for their happy hour $4 truffle fries and Wed half price bottles of wine! Fries were tasty…also tried the cheese curds and jalapeño poppers…definitely want to come back for lunch or dinner! Service was fast and friendly too.

Good food and service. Clean bathrooms and good parking ️. The brisket quesadilla had a little too much spinach in it. The mac and shrimp grits were tasty . The chicken Alfredo too.

A Hidden Gem in League City
We’ve lived in League City for almost 17 years, but somehow never stopped by this beautiful, historic spot on Main Street, even though it’s been open since 2012! Yesterday, we finally had dinner at Main St. Bistro, and we’re so glad we did. The restaurant is full of charm and character, with a cozy, inviting vibe. The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous, making us feel right at home. We went with the dishes our waitress recommended, and they did not disappoint. Everything was delicious, well-cooked, and full of flavor.
Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. We can’t wait to come back and bring our children with us next time.
Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

We went here for brunch and unfortunately the experience was pretty underwhelming across the board. I ordered the seafood gumbo and the crepes. The gumbo tasted fine, nothing amazing but not bad. The crepes, though, definitely weren’t made correctly. The texture was all wrong (you can see it in the photo). Luckily Nutella covers a lot of issues because the flavor was OK.

My husband ordered the French toast and a plain eggs Benedict. The French toast was ok too -pretty hard to mess up. And the eggs Benedict was the only redeeming item, it tasted pretty good.

What really surprised me was the orange juice. For a place that serves brunch, I’ve never seen OJ this watered down before. It looked pale yellow and tasted like it had been heavily diluted. Very odd and honestly a weird thing to cut corners on.

Service-wise, our waitress seemed extremely busy, so I’m guessing they were short-staffed. Overall, nothing was terrible but nothing stood out either so I wouldn’t personally recommend it.

We recently hosted our holiday party at Main Street Bistro and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! The planning process was smooth and stress-free, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. The four-course meal was incredible — beautifully presented, delicious, and something everyone was raving about long after the night was over. The atmosphere was festive and warm, and the service was top-notch the entire evening. They even wrote a sweet note on my leftovers!

If you’re looking for a place to celebrate, impress clients, or just enjoy an amazing dining experience, Main Street Bistro is the spot. Huge thanks to their team for helping make our event truly special!

Honestly the food here is really amazing. Unfortunately the service we received was lackluster at best. In addition to getting several of our menu orders incorrect, the service was slow and un attentive. We had to leave the table to find our server to resolve our issues. Our drinks were not refilled until we were almost done with our meal.

The prices are not unreasonable for the quality, but the lack of service made us feel that the meal was not worth what we paid. And since we had a party of 6, the tip was added automatically.

This place is a must!!! Everything was so delicious. My bf really enjoyed the seasonal salad. He said the dressing was perfection and pulled it all together nicely. But our favorite part of this dinner was the pecan cheesecake. I’m 8 months pregnant and this dessert brought tears to my eyes. You HAVE to get this on your next stop. The other great part of our dinner was our waitress, Melissa! She was so amazing and attentive. So friendly and laughed and giggled with us. I was really happy we had her and we’ll be back to see her and get a slice of cheesecake 😉

This place is my first time coming here! I ate with group of Friends! Foods were delicious, the workers here were playful, I saw a playful interaction with the employees, it was a cute moment seeing them being silly and proving a safe comfortable environment that even the workers can enjoy which also makes the customer enjoy the experience too. One of my favorite thing- I go to the bathroom and they provide us tampons and hairspray!! I encourage to keep up the friendly environment! Thank you for such a wonderful lunch! She told me her name was Liz, she was so sweet, she somehow managed an entire table memorizing our meal and drinks, she was patient, consistent refilling out she worked hard, love her for it! Thank you again for a wonderful evening!

I had heard great things about this restaurant and was excited to try it for lunch. The host and our waitress were both very kind and attentive. She appeared to be the only server covering around ten tables and handled it well.

Our food took just over 30 minutes to arrive. About 20 minutes in, I asked about the delay and was told they were down one cook. I completely understand that staffing issues happen. I just wish we had been told that upfront before ordering, as we were on a limited lunch schedule and would have made a different decision if we had known.

We ordered two entrees, a hamburger with half fries and half onion rings, and shrimp and grits. The onion rings were very good, and the garlic bread was excellent. The burger was fine. The shrimp and grits were fairly bland.

The staff was warm and professional. For those going at lunch, it may be wise to allow extra time in case the kitchen is short staffed.
