I get a strawberry banana smoothie, cheese quesadilla with sea salt chips and a chocolate chip cookie has just a regular meal. It’s very good the smoothies are super good and tasty and the meal is super good! The service speed is super fast and good and the employees are super nice and polite the atmosphere is super nice fitting the tropical vibe it’s super good!

When i pre order my smoothie it is never ready on time- whether i use the drive thru or not. I order the same smoothie at every tropical smoothie i go to and for some reason these special workers can’t figure out a single recipe. It’s always watered down with no sweetener (and no it’s not my settings when i order because every other store gets it right)— i went to pick up my order the other day and the drive thru was closed so i came in and asked them why. These 2 tennie boppers working said they “just got too busy and couldn’t handle it”… sounds like a staffing issue to me. Employees damn well should not have the privilege to just shut down the drive thru because they can’t handle a simple fast food job.
I definitely recommend going to the one on crooks if you need to order and need to stay near Rochester.

I have the most simple order ever. Every time I try this place the smoothies are gross. It is watery and zero flavor. Definitely not smooth and always chunky. This was my second and last time coming to this location. Smoothies are so easy. I’m not understanding why this is the only tropical smoothie that doesn’t taste good. ♀️

I’m genuinely disappointed with this Tropical Smoothie location. I’ve ordered the same smoothie almost every day because it’s one of the few things I can tolerate in the morning, yet this is now the third time I’ve had a serious issue with how my drink was made.
The first time, it tasted strongly of chemicals — as if the blender or machine had just been cleaned and not rinsed properly. I was told “everything was normal.” The second time, the same issue happened again. And now, on October 25th around 2 PM, I ordered a Bahama Mama with whey protein and extra white chocolate, and within two hours of finishing it, I was vomiting and had one of the worst headaches I’ve ever had. I’ve been sick the entire day because of it.
At this point, it’s clear something is not right with how these drinks are being prepared. This level of negligence is unacceptable and could genuinely harm someone.
I’d like to be contacted for a refund or compensation, because I did not pay to get sick. To the employees and management — do better. Customers deserve safe, consistent products, not repeated excuses.

So friendly but this location needs to retrain their employees. A smoothie shouldn’t be chunky nor bland. Just wasted $11 and time. Any other location is better than this.

Eat Your BBQ
I stopped by this morning for breakfast quesadilla and a smoothie. The peanut butter smoothie was delicious and so was the quesadilla. The smoothie came out real quick and a young lady even brought the quesadilla to my table.

My SO and I pulled up at the drive through this morning at about 11:30. Someone came on the headset and said “hi are you ready to order?”. They were very kind, but before we even got the chance to respond this woman came on the headset and said “EXCUSE ME, ARE YOU READY TO ORDER OR NOT?????”. I was stunned. My SO was stunned. I ordered my smoothie and he ordered his. Service was thankfully quick but I honestly was so bothered by the way we were talked to that I asked who took our order. It was rude. When she came to the window I told her that. She said the original person had asked if we were ready to order three times (there wasn’t even enough time gone by for that to have been the truth) and that it wasn’t rude at all because stepping in is her job. I assume she’s the location manager or whatever. It’s unfortunate because this location is convenient but we will happily drive out of our way to another location and avoid giving this location any more of our time.
I wish I could give food more than two stars but her behaviour was so sour towards us it just ruined it a little. It’s one star for each smoothie.
P.S. Thank you to the other reviewers for the good laugh, it was entertaining to read all the reviews confirming this issue also happens to other people. I hope lexi/rachel/whoever this woman was gets some help or something.
