Service great. Food great, what else can I say but ” we will be back!
The fettuccine was great and had a really unique taste to it. The pizza was really filling but a little too oily.
I would not recommend the mozzarella fritters as it had a weird taste to it I think due to the oil. However other than that the food was great and I will definitely be back!
Another point is that it was on the higher price end and a service charge was automatically added onto the bill so just be mindful of that.
The only snag in the atmosphere was the staff polishing the cutlery and throwing it into the drawers (loudly) at the station right beside the tables, which created unnecessary noise. That’s something that I think should be done in the back and brought all at once: we couldn’t talk for 10min because of the noise of cutlery being thrown, which was a bit grating.
Each and every staff member was friendly and made us so welcome. A chance question to our waiter Carlos saw us armed with fabulous insider tips for our next two days visit in Glasgow. Don’t miss this local secret !
£15 for a thin slice of ciabbata with some medium size king preans as a starter, tasty but not GVFM.
My fiance ordered a smaller option of a main course of pasta and i had the regular portion,£14.95 and 17.95 respectively. They both came out on plates roughly the same size. I couldn’t believe the size of my regular portion and asked 2 different members of staff if I had received the smaller portion and was told no that it was indeed the right one. I asked how much smaller the small portion would have been and was told ” you would get about 10 individual pieces of rigatoni” cost, £14.95,
Carbonara!
I won’t be back,I felt embarrassed for them and what small portions you get here. I would have posted the photo to show you but couldn’t download it.
