Beautiful renovation, clean and comfy accessible seating, friendly service.
Ordered the chicken korma, naan, and something I’ve never tried the chat papri a cold appetizer. All delicious great flavours and fresh.
The korma was a bit spicy for my mild baby spice level preference but with the cold appetizer really paired nice and the spice level didnt take away from the taste.
Ate too soon didn’t take pictures! Attached one from the website
I had one of the worst dining experiences at this restaurant. I ordered garlic naan, and it was not fresh at all—dry, hard, and almost impossible to eat. We also ordered malai kofta, and to my shock, the kofta balls were clearly frozen, not freshly made. On top of that, the dish was extremely salty and completely inedible.
We ended up paying $25.17 for food we couldn’t even eat. We left it almost untouched. To make things worse, the customer service was poor and unprofessional. When I politely shared my concerns, the staff simply said, “Okay, I’ll let the manager know”—no apology, no attempt to make it right.
It honestly felt like a nightmare. If you’re hoping to enjoy Indian cuisine, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere. There are much better options around—do yourself a favor and skip this place.
I ordered the Chicken Korma with plain rice and my partner had the Prawn Curry — both dishes were incredibly flavorful with that perfect, smooth richness and just the right amount of heat. You can really taste the care in their cooking. We also shared garlic naan and roti, both fresh, warm, and the perfect complement to our meals. The atmosphere is clean and welcoming, and the service was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring.
Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving delicious, well-balanced Indian cuisine. We’ll definitely be returning.
So last night – a Friday night which should be a prime night for a restaurant – at 5:00 we were the only patrons in there. So then we all ordered Lamb Korma with rice, naan brad and Vegetable Pakora on the side. None of us could get through the lamb dish, as it was so spicy it burned the back of my throat. The waitress brought us over yogurt to try and tame it down. I ended up eating a bowl of yogurt with 2 tblsps of the lamb korma in it. My lamb korma was barely touched. We left at 6:30 and we were still the only patrons in there.
This community has a lot of elder folks, like us, who just can’t stomach the hot spicy food. I can usually work my way through it if I have to, but this was too much. My stomach is in recovery today, and it’s not pretty.
We used to have an Indian Restaurant in the Hope downtown area that we loved; we ordered from there all the time – but unfortunately they closed down. And then we were excited to see that we now had another Indian restaurant that we could order from.
But….unfortunately that’s 2 tries for us now, and the 4 of us won’t be back.
When the order finally arrived, the food was cold, soggy in places, and completely lacking in flavor. Items were poorly packaged and some of the portions looked like they’d been sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. After waiting three hours, the least we expected was food that tasted fresh and was still hot. Instead we got bland, unappetizing dishes that ruined the whole night.
This wasn’t a small hiccup — it was a total failure of basic customer service and food quality. I will never order from here again and strongly advise others to avoid it if you value your time and your money. Absolutely the worst delivery experience I’ve had in Canada.
