LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Fantastic tasting American Style Pub food overlooking the marina. The wood room changes the vibe to cabin drinking with big game on the walls. Or have a drink at the oldest running business in downtown Port, the original Pub.
Neighborhood saloon with an old-timey wooden bar, marina views from the deck & simple bar eats.

We absolutely love this place and make it a point to stop here on our way down to the Milwaukee area. It’s truly become a tradition for us and a destination we look forward to. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, inviting, and consistently excellent.
Hands down, they have one of my favorite Bloody Marys anywhere — always perfectly made and so flavorful. It’s the kind of drink you think about long after you’ve left. The food never disappoints either. We especially love the pizza, but honestly, everything we’ve tried has been delicious and well-prepared. You can really tell they care about quality and consistency.
We always choose to sit in the solarium area, which is one of the best parts of the experience. The view of the harbor is absolutely beautiful and makes the whole meal feel relaxed and special, whether you’re stopping in for lunch or dinner.
On this visit, our server Lauren truly stood out. She was amazing — incredibly friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Her positive attitude and great service made an already great visit even better.
Overall, this place never fails to impress us. Between the fantastic food, amazing drinks, beautiful views, and outstanding service, it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. We would highly, highly recommend stopping here — it’s well worth it every time.

Emily was our attentive server and did a fine job. My chicken and wild rice soup was perfect, though the burger was quite greasy. The view from the upper level was perfect, but the music at lunch time was pretty loud. We tried the bar area first, but the music volume (and the swearing volume) was even worse.

You cannot beat this place on food, atmosphere, or kind servers. My husband and I come here from Chicago every year just to get their blue cheese burger. Blue cheese often overpowers burgers, but their blue cheese sauce has the perfect balance of tang and creaminess while not overpowering the flavor of the perfectly seasoned beef. Brioche frequently disintegrates as a burger bun, especially on a saucy burger, but this one holds up perfectly. And an excellent French fry is really sets great bar food apart from just ok. Plus the outdoor patio overlooking the breezy marina is the place. And this time I got a mimosa, which they delivered in two separate glasses because they said, everyone like their mimosas a little different. I could not say enough about how much I love this unassuming but excellent restaurant. Delish!

Good service friendly servers. Don’t have a party larger than 6 people. We had 8 and had to sit at two tables. They have a great view of the lake if seated outside.
The food wasn’t bad, pretty average American bar food. The duck wontons were.meh I didn’t like the dipping sauce. The burger was good. Im not a huge fan of cheese so I took most off. The chips were good also. The chili tasted homemade and was what I enjoyed most. The wings were also fried well just didn’t like the dipping sauce.

Came on a Friday night, perfect view of the lake & marina with a nice breeze. I had a taste for a good burger & it hit the spot for sure.

Ate in the upstairs area. Took my family visiting from out of town, waited for menus. When we were finally waited on by the bartender who was very busy waiting on the patrons in the bar she was friendly and said she would pit the order in. I ordered the brisket sandwich, and my mom ordered the tenderloin sandwich. When we were finally served our sandwiches they came on a dry bun with nothing else. No lettuce, onion or sauce of any kind. Nothing was on the side either. We had to ask for salt and pepper for the table and mayo and barbecue sauce for our sandwiches. Unfortunately this didn’t make the sandwiches easier to eat. They were still dry and were just not flavorful. It was disappointing since we had read the reviews and were expecting more. The burger my sister ordered she liked, but she did say it was a good greasy burger. And my boyfriend enjoyed his wings, so some of our party enjoyed their meals. The music upstairs is very loud, so if you want to converse with your party, that is not the place to sit.

As soon as I walked in a lady told me, “welcome home.” She really didn’t put any feeling into it though so it just made me laugh.
I kept “home” in mind the entire time since they set the standard. Folks, lol, I felt pretty much ignored. Looking around, unless the staff actually knows you they aren’t going to give you their .
Schooner’s, it really wouldn’t have bothered me. I really wouldn’t have bothered with a review, but you folks set a standard. I feel strongly you are not meeting that standard for new guests. Sorry, guys. I hate being the bad news guy
🙁 I won’t be back

We were visiting for the day and in our RV. We got carryout because of having our dog with us. We were able to find parking and placed an order easily over the phone. The gentleman who took our order was helpful. Our food was ready quickly and hot when we ate. The brisket sandwich was delicious even though I didn’t think to ask for some BBQ sauce. I did get coleslaw which was perfect. We had never tried cheese curds so they were a must. They were great with the ranch dipping sauce. Our dog even had one of the mini brats. If we are back, it would be a place we would visit again.

Schooners was a bright spot of an otherwise lack luster day visiting Franklin street. On the way to our car my wife and I smelled the most delicious hamburger smell and followed our noses to Schooners. Bartenders were welcoming and waitresses very friendly. My wife and I ordered hamburger plates. The burgers were the best we have ever eaten. 1/2 pound, juicy, buttery, flavorful, whatever you want on them. French fries had a crispy coating that was really good. Onion rings were typical Culvers type coating. The day was comfortable on their deck and the view is terriffic. Managers, you need to be proud of these employees ( especially the 19 year old young lady who cooked this meal ).

Beautiful view and a great waiter! I had the sirloin burger with onion rings, super tasty! I would definitely recommend it! Plus there wasn’t a lot of places open, so I really appreciated a place to go!
