Wonderful experience! We really lucked out in finding this place when looking for a new years option. Our server, Andrea, was lovely, engaging, and attentive. The food was both unique and exceptional. The wine pairings were spot on. Altogether fabulous experience. Will absolutely come back on my next trip to Napa.

I booked The Grove at Copia for Dinner, excited to take my Wife there for Valentine’s after enjoying a Wonderful Brunch on the Hornblower in San Francisco….
My Booking was at 5pm, we finished the 4 Course Prix Fix, a little before 7pm…..
I must say, I was extremely Dissatisfied. The wait time didn’t bother much, as it was expected…
But from 5pm – 6pm the restaurant wasn’t very busy, and they only had a 4 Course Menu….
They had an Oyster Carbonara that was extremely bland… I let them know, and a Sous Chef came out to ask about the issue. I explained, and told him he should try it before serving more guests….
And then our main courses came out quite a while later. I ordered Antelope medium rare, but it came out medium, and was also extremely bland..
Also my wife ordered chicken fried quail, and it was also bland….
I informed Ben, the Manager on duty of my dissatisfaction with the dishes. And that I would probably never eat at Copia again.
I explained that I wanted to just inform them so that they can adjust the dishes for the next guests..
Honestly, I expected them to remake my dishes the way they should have been.
For $120 per person for a 4 Course Meal, No Dish had a Wow Factor. Very Disappointing.
I Highly DO NOT recommend wasting your time at this place.
I paid for my full meal, plus a 20% Gratuity…
But I will Never Eat here again…
I Highly Recommend going to, The Rutherford Grill, Coles Chophouse, The Waterfront…

Very beautiful place! Love that their garden is at the front of the building to look at all the produce they use in the food. Our server Collin was som friendly, polite, informative. He brought us blankets and turned the heaters on for us. We ordered the $90 4 course menu. We shared the appetizer which was the focaccia bread and salad. Then we’re able to choose separate pasta, main and deserts. The ox tail pasta was ok. The flavors didn’t all blend well for me. This was the first time I’ve tried rock fish, and I’m not sure I liked it, but the broth it was sitting in was delicious. The Panna Cotta was the star. So for me, the start and end of the meal were the highlights.

We walked to our reservation at The Grove by the CIA (Culinary Institute of America). My husband had gnocchi with Oxtail ragu. Roger had Duck breast & bochoy. Michelle & I had the Rigatoni. It was all fabulous. Dessert was a strawberry mouse & then the most amazing Cardemom Panna Cotta with plums, vine grapes (very tiny) and fig. Id eat that every day, if I could. Sparkling wine, proseco, Cabernet.
Then our waitress, Mariane or Mary Ann, got us a private tour of the kitchen & the CIA museum. She went above and beyond to make us feel special!

A wonderful evening to top off our shopping escape in Napa. We sat at the bar for happy hour. Four of us were hungry so we ordered 1 of everything: meatball with pasta, tempura asparagus, burrata with salad, trout dip, chicken sandwich, 4 drinks. Everything was flavorful and great. We even got to ask the chef how he made the meatballs. Service was excellent and everyone was welcoming. We got a chance to tour the museum upstairs with an awesome collection of kitchenware.

The Grove was a decent experience which didn’t impress me food-wise. The menu was fairly bland and nothing we received was a standout from my perspective (although my wine was fantastic.) The actual space and exterior garden was awesome to see and walk around though.

Came here for brunch and really enjoyed it! The ambiance is great – love the outdoor seating, lots of fresh air, and such a pretty setup. It wasn’t too loud either, so it felt nice and relaxed.

Food was spot on – super fresh veggies and eggs, everything tasted really clean and flavorful. Definitely recommend the beignets, they were the perfect sweet treat at the end.

Parking was super easy, which is always a plus in Napa. Overall, a solid brunch spot with good vibes and great food. Will definitely come back!

We sat on the patio and loved our brunch. The service here is friendly and very attentive. The food is absolutely delicious. We had the smoked trout Benedict and the king salmon latka along with a few pineapple mimosas.

The atmosphere here on the patio is best described as serene. And, after brunch, our server suggested that we might wish to take our drinks and walk around the herb gardens. We chose to sit in the comfortable sofa and sip our drinks. The best part of the patio was the fact that we’re not overlooking a parking lot.

Lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Very highly recommended!

August 2025:
Celebrated an anniversary up in Napa and enjoyed a fabulous brunch outside on the patio. Julia was our server and she surprised us with glasses of prosecco!

We started with coffee and the beignets. Great combination. The beignets came with a creme anglaise and a raspberry sauce. Both were super delicious . I’d order that again.

For mains, shared the pork belly BLT and the beet cured king salmon with poached egg latkes. Both were excellent . I’d order both again too.

Service was friendly and attentive. Julia was super nice and I hope she’s there again when we come back!
