Stopped by on my lunch break to try it, very fast service and the meal was great. I got the lunch special with fish and oysters and it tasted just like a home cooked seafood meal. The fries weren’t the best but would be better with some seasoning. The portions of fish were pretty big and very good in my opinion, the oysters were also great. Overall a lot better than expected and probably one of the only places to get decent seafood without spending too much, 100% worth a try.

It’s insane. They don’t answer the phone when they say they are open. They are closed on Friday’s. They promote having crabs and other things available when they really don’t. Answer your phone! Let people know before they make the trip to you. Be professional. Just go somewhere else.

Stopped in to try lunch out last summer. I had a Crab cake sandwich with fries. As others have stated the fries were not that good. The crab cake was not what you would expect for being practically on the Chesapeake Bay. They are frozen from a box…think 4 for a dollar value. All filler. Experience was bad enough I haven’t been back.

Old Bay seafood, this is my go-to seafood place in Smithfield. it is located in Smithfield plaza shopping center. they cook a variety of seafood dinners and sandwiches;fish,shrimp,crabs,crab cakes chicken, fries and coleslaw. Just to name some. My favorite there is their fried crabs! ( That batter)They also have a small section where they keep fresh seafood for purchase. They are open for takeout only, because of the covid-19. they do not have drive-thru.manager and staff very friendly.
