Had an eye on Rosie’s Smokehouse for a while, once I got up to NM, I made the rest of my crew come along. These Texans were impressed. The beans might just be my favorite I’ve had at ANY bbq joint back home in Texas. The ribs were good, with a sweet bbq glaze. The chicken was moist and flavorful. Brisket was tender and good flavor.

All in all, a great visit. Northern NM is lucky to have Rosie’s!

food was amazing!! waiter seemed to be new at waiting, he forgot the stake knife, but the stake was so tender we used a butter knife to cut it with no issues! My compliments to the chef!! And the dessert, strawberry short cake, was sooooo yummy!! My compliments to who ever made that most delicious cake!!

First, we are from Texas so hyper critical of barbecue. That said, we can confidantly say Rosie’s was amazing! I had the brisket and pulled chicken and wow! It was so good! As were the baked beans. My boyfriend had the loaded baked with brisket and he said it was the best he’s had. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Taos!

I am not sure if it is the high altitude cooking, but the brisket here is exceptional, and the pulled pork is top-notch. Highly recommend if looking for solid BBQ joint.

Cute place, but the food was top notch! We had the brisket sandwhich. The texture, flavor, and portion was perfect! Not disappointing at all.

The food is fantastic. We have eaten there twice. We have had the brisket, sausage, ribs, and pulled pork and they were all good. The baked potatoes are good too.

We were very pleased with all aspects of this restaurant. One of us got the loaded baked potato (HUGE) and one got the chopped brisket sandwich with a side of smoked baked beans. We usually take home leftovers, but this was so good, we both ate the whole thing There was dessert available, but we just couldn’t. The staff is welcoming and the service is prompt. I highly recommend!

This place serves up the best BBQ I’ve had in the state. JT, the pitmaster, is the nicest guy, and clearly takes pride in his craft. We shared a phenomenal plate of brisket, ribs and pulled pork. One friend told me he ate the best steak of his life here—and he’s a rancher! Another woman told me she eats here three days a week. If you’re in the area, don’t miss a stop at Rosie’s.
