We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with an amazing server named Ozzy. He was very attentive and knew the menu inside and out. We shared a queso dip and had a steak bowls. 10/10

While the service was good, we were not terribly impressed with the food/beverages/cleanliness.
Several of us had burritos, and they were about 90% rice and beans with some protein. It would have been nice to include more veggies/cheese/salsa/etc. We also ordered some appetizers, and those were pretty good overall.
The margaritas we had were just okay, not really worth even the happy hour price.
The seats at our table were somewhat dirty and had bits of old food on them.

Yum yum… 4 star food but there was a disturbance in the force.

We had veggie tacos and a beef burrito. They were both delicious and well prepared. The portobello mushrooms in the tacos were nice and the fondue sauce on the burrito was lovely and spicy. If I were to base the star value solely on the food it would get 4 stars for sure.

Now for the rub. I asked for salsa on the side. They brought it but they charged $2 for it without saying anything. Zoinks! That’s a full star drop right there. Then, the to go boxes were very tiny and there wasn’t an offer from the server to put the food in there. Oh, and they don’t have bottled water.

Anyway, don’t hesitate to go here if you have a hankering for Mexican food. It won’t disappoint, but just be mindful that the service might falter a bit.

We love the area and what a nice day it was!

Enjoy and be healthy!

very nice place to hang out with kids, and eat some good quality Mexican street food. Ambience is very nice. Interior decoration is at par. Loved our server, Michael and cant wait to come back again.

we made reservations for saturday night. got in right at the reservation time. the staff was very nice, food tasted great, the drinks with alcohol were very good, the only non-alcoholic drink option (besides soda/water) was a margarita that wasnt too impressive, expanding out the non-alcoholic drink menu would be great! Really liked the location also. Will go back!

Sooooo I went here with a large party for my birthday and probably had one of the best customer experiences I have ever received at a restaurant in Minnesota.

This place is right next to a lake and has major California beach vibes…it also felt welcoming especially being in a more “white” area of Minnesota if you get my drift.

Tammy (waitress) did a really nice job accommodating our large group and making us feel welcomed and the food was really good…fresh!

Only issue was the Jambalaya that multiple people ordered which was not on point…very salty. But the awesome owner Josh fixed the situation and hooked up something else which was great!

I really appreciated it because it was late and the kitchen was closed, and he still did what he could to rectify the moment and get us some
great food!

On top of that I was treated to some nice tequila shots and a complementary birthday desert.

Big shout out and thanks to Tammy and Josh for helping me and my people have a great night!

*Cant go wrong with the Cabo burger, burrito or tacos!

Fantastic fusion of California/Mexican food! You will find the owner Josh behind the bar making fantastic margaritas. Refreshed interior that’s super fun. Make sure you try the street corn – it’s fantastic. And wether you have to go or not, stop by the bathrooms on your way out!

Always a great meal! I have had barbacoa tacos, corn, Brussel sprouts, tuna poke and all have been amazing. Tonight I had the chicken tinga burrito bowl and the poke. They were both awesome. The specialty drinks are fine. I had the Jefe Margarita and it tasted like a margarita. Next time would probably save my money and get a basic margarita for $6 less. Prices are a bit on the higher side but it is in Wayzata, so thats expected (was $85 for 2 drinks, 1 app, 1 burrito and 1 burrito bowl.

Hands down the best customer experience I have ever received at a restaurant in Minnesota. This restaurant should be a model example of how to treat customers and earn repeat customers. We came here to celebrate a friends birthday, the restaurant is located in a nice affluent area, right next to a big lake. The whole area is mostly yacht club, and nice luxury cars driving and parked along the many shops located in the area. The atmosphere of the Restaurant was welcoming and inviting, very nice beach vibes inside and outside the restaurant. We had a party of 12 with 1 waitress “Tammy” who did a phenomenal job accommodating us and making us feel welcomed. The drink suggestions she gave us all turned out fantastic. The only mishap was the suggested meal of jambalaya, the meal was very salty. Once we told the staff (who turned out to be the owner) he said it was no problem even though the kitchen was closed and had the chefs make 2 burger meals to replace to jambalaya. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The rest of the food was good. The wings were had a nice spice to them and had a good crunch. The Cabo burger was by bar the hit of the night. Multiple people got it and were impressed with all the flavors exploding out of the burger. The owner also treated my friend to a tequila shot of “Clase Azul Reposado” and a desert for his bday. He even sung happy birthday with us a group. I mention the excellent customer service, because sometimes in affluent white areas when a group of black people come in to an establishment you can be made to feel unwanted, the vibe can be awkward, and just feel like you are not getting the best customer service. Not here we really felt like family and had a blast of a night. The whole night was LIT thanks to Josh the owner and his staff. A big THANK YOU to Baja Haus for the hospitality and the memories.
