Big Rapids has some great old buildings with nice brick walls and tin ceilings. This creates an amazing atmosphere. The addition of a giant lit beer sign behind the bar really works too. I also like the Raven Logo.
I ordered the Pulled Pork plate with baked beans and Mache Choux Corn dish for $11. The Pulled Pork was excellent. Very tender and a generous portion. The baked beans were amazing, unique tasting and I wished I had more of them. The corn dish was very good also. This may be odd, but I loved the ice in my soda. Small and super crunchy.
The service was super friendly and efficient.
Overall an easy 5 star review. The food was great, Value was excellent, service very good, and atmosphere was enjoyable. I would definitely return!

Not impressed.. I ordered the poutine and got it to go. The gravy was already mixed in the container so the fries got super soggy and gross. I’m not really sure why it wasn’t on the side to preserve the texture of the fries until I got home. The pork had too much fat and was sub-par. The cheese curds were good, but nothing special. The gravy had good flavor, but had completely taken over the flavor of the whole dish. This was absolutely not worth the money. Maybe other food on the menu is good, but I won’t be going back to find out.

Such a phenomenal restaurant! Upon entering the building we fell in love with their decor and setup. Our waitress quickly greeted us and took our drink order which she promptly delivered. She made sure to answer any questions we had since it was our first time. Their menu sounds so good that we had a hard time choosing. We finally ordered and were not disappointed!!!! Oh my gosh is their food delicious. The Habanero Peach Chili sounds a bit strange, but I promise you it’s the best chili you’ve ever had! Everything we ordered was delicious. Our waitress never let our drinks get too low. She had boxes, including cups with lids for us to take BBQ sauces, ready for us before we even had to ask. All around amazing experience. We will definitely be back!

We really went for the whole experience here. Flights of their beer, bbq sandwich, hung out…. Just disappointing all around. The server didn’t come to us after 15 minutes, so we sat at the bar – which is why the bartender comped us, probably.
Their beer was not good. I love beer and the best thing on the menu here was from Bells. That is rough. The bbq came with a bunch of Romain lettuce on it (wut?) and didn’t naturally include a side. Place seems cool looking but, I would not recommend unless maybe attending a show.

Waitress was nice. Beer was ok. Menu wasn’t updated to their current offering. Food was terrible. BBQ was so dry that even the sauce couldn’t revitalize it. Mac and cheese was cold when it came out. Burger had any and all flavor cooked out out of it. Very expensive lesson.

Some of the best beer we had on a three day tasting through West Michigan. The berry “Jam” is crazy. The poutine was great with brisket (skip the jalepenos they should be fresh NOT pickled)

Great bar and BBQ! The prices are low and the food is amazing! The beef brisket is on point! Decent beer selection. But the icing is the BBQ baked beans… wow! So good!!

Very neat place. The food menu is smallish but that is a good sign as you can tell everything is made to order fresh. Great atmosphere and even better food. I tried the Poutine with the beef brisket and oh my goodness it was amazing! The flavor was different with every bite. All of the ingredients were very good.

We had an incredible lunch today! Pulled Pork Street Tacos, Cuban Panini, White Bean Chicken Chili, all AMAZING! The atmosphere was very warm and welcoming, complete with CCR and Seger playing softly in the background. 10/10 would highly recommend!
