I was thrilled to celebrate my son’s 17th birthday at this restaurant, one of his favorites. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing night. I had made a reservation online two weeks in advance and received a confirmation that someone would contact me to confirm it. Someone did, and I spoke to a gentleman who confirmed the reservation. However, he informed me that due to legislation in session, they could only accommodate six guests, not eight, and that splitting tables was not allowed. We decided to proceed with six guests and informed the additional guest that we could no longer accommodate them.

Before arriving at the restaurant today, I called to confirm whether outside cake was allowed. The young lady informed me that there was a $30 service charge. I then asked her to confirm my reservation since I hadn’t received a reminder.

She informed me that she couldn’t find a reservation under my name. She asked if it could be listed under a different name, but I declined. She then asked me to send a screenshot of the pending reservation, which I did. I recounted my conversation with the gentleman who had called me. She informed me that no men take reservations and suggested that it could have been the owner or another gentleman.

I expressed my disappointment, as my son had been eagerly looking forward to this celebration for weeks. Since several guests were already there, I decided to go inside and speak to a manager. Upon arriving, I was greeted by several hosts, and one lady introduced herself as a manager. I explained the situation, and she informed me that I hadn’t spoken to anyone there, especially a man, because they prefer not to make reservations. She also said that I had spoken to all the hosts, though I had only spoken with one.

I was very disappointed with her unprofessional behavior and the fact that she had shared my call with everyone. I explained that this would have been easier to accept if it weren’t my child’s birthday, and he had been eagerly anticipating it for weeks. However, she informed me that they do allow child birthday dinners, which made the situation even more confusing. This isn’t my family’s first time patronizing this restaurant. We don’t visit frequently, but we make it a tradition to celebrate our birthdays here every year.

This certainly wasn’t what I had in mind for my child’s birthday, and it won’t happen again. There was no acknowledgment of the mistake, and she treated me as if I were crazy. I assure you that I’m not that person, and I know better than to waste my hard-earned money on businesses or individuals who treat me with disrespect.

Occupies the old Ruth’s Chris space. Overall experience was mixed. Food was good but slightly salty, however the marinated crab claws were great. Was told there is no wine lost/book but saw a large display of wine that was not in the cocktail menu. Wine on the cocktail menu is limited to North America.

Front of house/servers are young and inexperienced. Our server did not tell us the special but the server for the adjacent table did tell his table. Young man cleaning our table did not want to make two trips so piled plates, glasses, baskets, etc into his arms. It was comical. Then he did tbe same to the table next to us and promptly dropped everything into the floor.

Bat and bar backs seem to be competent tho.

I’d go back in the end.

We went out to celebrate my wife and I getting a promotion at work. And we just wanted to try it. We hadn’t been here since it was RuthCris. We ordered a filet, a ny strip, I got the special that had 3 meats. And my wife got the salmon. For our sides we ordered the creamed spinach au gratin (my favorite). Potatoes as gratin and some fries. Food was all great but the service had something to be desired. For a ‘fan t’ restaurant. I’d expect some more attentiveness from the staff. Had to wait on several things like a dessert menu, the check. Paying the check,…. A couple other tables got in after us but managers to finish their dinner and leave before us.

I received a gift card from a client. I made a reservation for the evening before Christmas Eve.
I expected an upscale restaurant since I had to make a reservation and read the dress code.
However, the service and food way surpassed all of my expectations. My waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.
I ordered the tenderloin tips and they were perfection.
And I have to say the bread pudding was one of the best I have had in Mississippi.
Fortunately for me, I didn’t use all of my gift card. So I will be dining at Koestler Prime again soon.

The husband took me here last Saturday for my birthday. It was amazing! Simple food executed to perfection. Our waiter was Jeremy. He should host a class on customer service and professionalism! Just wonderful. Its expensive but the experience was oh so worth it! 10/10!

We were turned away at the door due to an alleged dress code violation related to my husband’s Armani Exchange sweatshirt and necklace.

What was concerning was the inconsistency in enforcement. At the same time, another guest was seated inside wearing a large Ole Miss sweatshirt, which appeared to contradict the stated policy.

No clarification was provided, and no effort was made to handle the situation professionally or respectfully. The lack of consistency and communication resulted in an uncomfortable and disappointing experience.

Clear, fair, and consistent application of policies is essential for any establishment, particularly one positioning itself as an upscale dining destination. Unfortunately, that standard was not met.

Went here on a date night. Greeted with a smile as we were welcome through the door. Pace was our server. Everything he recommended was delish. He was awesome and the food was 10/10. Got a med well ribeye, new potatoes, cream spinach, and bread pudding. Loved it all. Will def go back.

Filet was cooked a perfect medium as the tenderness and flavor placed this steak into my top 3 list. The veggie side was a perfect pairing. As an aside, dont go for the salad, just ordinary.
