Stopped at Pat’s Pizzeria (40 Marrows Rd, Newark, DE) today after a long, tiring day at work — and I’m so glad I did. The pizza was delicious and really hit the spot. If you’re looking for halal-friendly options, they offer cheese and veggie pizzas. I also liked that they have square pizza available. The prices are very reasonable, and the staff are great — friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place for a quick, satisfying bite!

We called ahead to order our food to dine in the restaurant because we had limited time to eat. They took our order, we paid when we arrived and our order was ready about 5 minutes after we arrived. Our cheese steak was very good and prepared the way we asked. The fries were also very good. We got our drinks and someone brought our food out to us when it was ready. A good experience.

I ordered 2 Chicken Cheesesteaks and the menu said it came with fries. No fries were given and when I asked they said that was for lunch only. Nowhere on the menu or anywhere else did it mention that was the lunch special only. Ok , it was a misprint. Well as I was asking another customer was told that the fries came with it. Not much you can do really once they take your money, I suggest you ask what comes with your meal. Make them write or print a receipt. They straight up lied to me. If I integrity is important to you, this is not a place for you.

Ordered 20 wings. They literally put 18 wings. As pricey as wings have become they didn’t give us what we paid for. We didnt get the celery either. We called and young lady said we can make you 2 wings and that she didn’t prepare the food. This place is going down hill. The customer service has become a joke.

I gave these guys 3 chances and they still managed to leave me disappointed. I called 2 times before on a not so busy night at 7 pm and didn’t recieve my meal until 950 pm.
The last time I ordered was around 730, I recieved my order at 905 pm and when I opened it up it was the wrong order. I called back to explain the situation and was hung up on. I was told I could speak with the manager but was on hold for more than 20 minutes until the store closed. I do not reccomend this pats over any other. It used to be very good and the management use to be very helpful. Now however it is not. I wonder if corporate is seeing any of these comments because I will be sure I let my voice be known. The staff was ignorant, the management unprofessional. I also took a picture of the calzone they sent me as proof. The meat wasn’t even cooked all the way through. Health and food services are gonna have a field day.

Orders a specific cheesecake online and apparently though dont have cherry cheesecake as i was told didnt have it . They brought me a soggy mess non appetizing dessert. When I called the manager was indifferent about the situation didnt make any amends ect just what u wanna order again. Of course not why would I. They dont care about what they serve or how the approach customer service.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich tonight which clearly says on the menu it comes with lettuce tomatoes provolone and your choice of sauce on the side. When I contacted the store to get the sandwich she said they were no sauces. I explain to her didn’t matter because I just wanted the way that it comes lettuce tomato provolone and that’s it the sandwich came with just chicken and a button. I proceeded to speak with the cashier about the incorrect sandwich, as I had it delivered to my home because I just had a surgical procedure on my leg that I cannot move. When the manager came on she had an attitude she said she couldn’t send me a new sandwich back unless I came into the store and showed her that I had not eaten my sandwich. Just the fact that she would say something like that. the unmitigated gall . I then told her I could send her picture she said we’re going to send the picture to? It was an attitude straight through I told her I needed to speak with her manager she said there was none but obviously there is an owner. I contact another Pats to see if I could get that owners name. With that being said, The manger at the pats on marrows road was incredibly disrespectful and the attitude I gave her right back. She didn’t appreciate my phone. I didn’t appreciate her making the assumption that I had it in the sandwich and I was trying to get over on her. I paid for the food to be delivered. She said she could not send out a driver for the sandwiches replacement don’t appreciate that she didn’t bother to apologize for the ertor. I also didn’t appreciate that I told her that I could not move my car and that’s the reason why I asked for the sandwich to be brought back to me as I paid for delivery the first time and did not receive a correct order she said she didn’t have to do anything for me I said fine and I would find out who the owner is. Don’t waste your time with this place when you can obviously spend your money someplace else. There’s no decorum, they lack professionalism and at the end of the day that’s just downright ignorant with their behavior. Finally.this peon said she did not have to do anything for me. WELL OBVIOUSLY SHE DIDNT . And there is a picture of my sandwich. And just to add insult to injury, I am four blocks away from that Pats. I would not pay for delivery unless it was completely necessary. You need to teach a staff about Customer Service and quite frankly about having manners because they lack both

Pretty empty when I walked in but it was later in the evening and they were near closing. The food is merely okay. It has its moments. The service is always good. They always treat me well. They’re very respectful, especially the young folks they have working back there. So I can really appreciate that.
