Zazu Mediterranean on 7th is a reliable find, whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or a casual dinner. The space is modern, incredibly clean, and surprisingly spacious with plenty of seating, so you never feel rushed.

I really appreciated the self-serve kiosks, which made customizing my order a breeze.

The Falafel Pita was delicious and came perfectly loaded with pickles, fresh salad, and tahini. If you’re a fan of heat, definitely add their fiery red sauce for that extra kick—it really brings everything together.

For just $4.50 more, you can upgrade to a full combo with a side and a drink, which is a fantastic value for the quality you’re getting. It’s fresh, yummy, and priced just right for the neighborhood.

Portion sizes were bigger than expected for the price. The chicken shawarma was amazing. It weighed probably 2 pounds. Plenty of seating on a weeknight.

I love this place but tonight NO. ZaZu had no zing, no zippity do dah, no ZING. I have just come back from 7 weeks in the Middle East. I had great food in Amman and Istanbul and I was a tad burned out but after a four or five days I was craving a chicken shawarma. Tonight I was sadly disappointed the sauce was tasteless and the chicken was bland and the pita- well forget it. But as I said I love this place so I’ll give it another chance.

Delicious chicken shawarma that I devoured so quickly that there was no time for pictures. Plenty of searing and their AC is full blast for the summer. Chill staff and decent prices for the area!

I ate their Loaded Fries Shawarma Chicken and garlic sauce, which was decidedly yummy. My goodness! The depth of the taste was phenomenal. Their spices are subtle, but memorable.
I chose their garlic sauce and my friend chose the Tahini sauce on her beef Shawarma. The food is plentiful here. It was enough for me to be able to take some home. I was too hungry for that the first time, to do that.
I’ve went back yesterday with the same friend. The fun part is that they give points that you can use for each purchase, which I had missed seeing before, but my friend had not. I signed up on the spot and received 50 points the equivalent of $5.00 off my meal. Stupendous!
For my second visit, I had the Beef Sharwarma and my friend had a wrap. I was expecting shredded beef, but it was ground. Again, the spices added depth, but there was also perhaps a bit of greasiness from the ground beef. Although pretty, there was an almost overwhelming amount of chopped tomatoes on top, plus the requisite pickles. I opted out of the red onions, again since I have an onion sensitivity. That might cut the slight greasy taste bringing up the rear. I did not finish it, abs decided to take it home. Don’t get me wrong it was still quite good, moist, …yet still a little greasy.
I will, return. The food options, taste, and the bonus points, all make it worth it to go.

This place is a great value. The portions are substantial and the food is really tasty. It’s hard to find a spot that offers such a good balance of quality and price. Definitely worth a visit.

I was a little skeptical going to this place. But I am surprised that this place is actually good.
Got the OF Falafal special. Got hot sauce on the side. Their Falafal are freshly made to order. They were soft and delicious. Their stuffed Falafal were crispy from outside and soft from inside. Their Hummas was delicious as well. They tasted delicious. Friendly staf answere the questions I had.
Would definitely go back to get more food.
