Great food and portions. Was in the area visiting family, was not expecting a Vietnamese restaurant here. Just as good if not better than the Vietnamese restaurants you’ll find in larger metro areas or even DC. It looked like a one man operation, as a older gentleman seemed to be running the restaurant by himself. You could tell he takes pride in his restaurant and the food.

I was excited to find a Vietnamese place close to home. I tried the Kimlee special Bánh-mì and the Pho with meatballs and brisket, and both were excellent. The Vietnamese iced coffee was also very good. Those with me had stir-fried vegtables with steak and enjoyed their meals. Definitely on my list of places to revisit.
The space was slightly spartan, but it was very clean, the seats were comfortable, and the service was excellent.

Best Pho in Harrisburg. Service was friendly and fast. Food came out promptly and was fantastic. We had the curry chicken and eye round and brisket Pho. Love having this place just a short walk from home.

2022 update: still the best Pho around. The tofu and Veggie is one of my favorites and the grilled pork spring rolls are to die for.

Had a great first experiences with the folks at Kimlee during their grand opening day at their new location in Millersburg. When news broke on Facebook about them moving and rumors of them relocating to our town, everyone anxiously waited for when they would be open.

I had their Angus Steak Pho as a combo, which included egg rolls and a drink. Everything came out quickly, despite the place being pretty full. The food was great, service excellent, and it gave just a taste of what Kimlee has been sharing with the folks in Linglestown for years… very excited to go back and try some of their other offerings, and glad to have something new and different in our small town.

Welcome to Millersburg!

I was both excited and skeptical when this popped up in millersburg, but let me tell you, it does not disappoint. 10/10 recommend. So far I’ve only gotten the pho, but it is worth every penny. I’ve tried the Angus beef and shrimp combo as well as just shrimp. I recommend both. The shrimp tastes super fresh. My boyfriend enjoyed the Angus beef and chicken combo. Can’t wait to try other things!

Note: We got this to go. This means a bit of a build your own bowl style meal. Also, the Angus beef comes raw because it cooks in the broth. So keep that in mind if you have to drive very far. I recommend either immediately dropping your meat in the broth while you are there or bringing a cooler to put it on ice. if you choose the ice method, just make sure to bring your broth to a boil at home in a pot before either putting the meat in or pouring over in a bowl.

The restaurant is attached to a indoor sports complex, Sports City, but the only entrance is from the outside. The ambiance is more than decent among Vietnamese restaurants, which are typically spartan/ad hocin the Harrisburg metro area. I’d say among the top 3 (behind Pho Pasture 2 and Pho 7 Spice). The colors of the walls, the use of pendant lights, and the selections of the wall arts have been thoughtfully put together. And the exterior holiday lighting as well as the Christmas tree in the dining area demonstrated that the management cares about connecting with the local community.

The menu comes in a nice folio cover, consistent with the quality statement the establishment attempts to convey. The menu is well organized and easy to navigate. Each menu items can be referenced using index, English, or Vietnamese. Select items are also illustrated with photos.

We ordered 1 appetizer and 3 noodle dishes:

A2. Spring Rolls (2) $3.75
S1. Hue-Style Beef Noodle Soup $8.95
V1. Kimlee’s Special Vermicelli $10.95
V4. Sliced Grilled Pork & Fried Shrimp Paste Vermicelli $8.50

As shown in my pics. Every dish was executed nicely. I’ve never had S1 in any Vietnamese restaurant before so it was an adventure. The broth was very spicy and very tantalizing with a fusion of many flavors. The beef came in at least 3 different renditions – sliced beef, meat balls, and cold cut. The only thing I didn’t care about was the [Hue-style] noodle. I’d rather it be pho or something that has more texture. I’ll see if I can customize it next time…

Both of the vermicelli dishes came with a protein calls “fried shrimp paste”. I’ve never had this in a Vietnamese restaurant. The closest thing I can relate to is the Chinese bean curd dim sum roll and the Japanese fish cake. But I loved it.

3 staff were serving the tables while we were there. They were all friendly and everyone of them attended our table multiple times.

Overall, I was very impressed that the establishment has successfully elevated a cheap ethnic eat to a level of quality in all aspects. I commend the management and its staff. I will definitely be back for more. I highly recommend!

My Mom and I always order from Kimlee on DoorDash, but today we finally decided to dine in. The place is great and the workers are polite, courteous and quick. The food is amazing — packed with flavor but not greasy or too heavy. My Mom and I ordered pho and it was delicious! The pictures don’t do it justice, especially since we were slurping away blissfully lol. The thai milk tea and Vietnamese coffee are absolutely worth the hype. Coffee lovers who like it strong will enjoy their stuff.

Was H and A Noodles, same cook so same delicious food. The broth is aromatic and delicious. The fried quail is also quite tasty. They have added spicy versions of the pho to the menu. Good for solo or group dining, remember if going for dinner it’s BYOB
Although prices have risen everywhere including here, still one of the best bowls of pho in the area!!

Absolutely love the place! My girlfriend and I ordered one Kimlee Special (regular) and one vegetarian (large). Both were so scrumptious that we did not even waste any soup in the end! A special shout-out to the cashier Preet, who recognized my school T-shirt! We had an enjoyable conversation about B1G sports after the dinner. It always feels nice when someone acknowledges my university outside Michigan~
