Excellent find. The food was incredible. We tried the spinach dip (best I’ve had). Our entrees were also delicious. Staff was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was inviting and calm. Highly recommend stopping in here.

During a recent weekend getaway, my husband and I stopped in for dinner. Union Underground has a really good menu, a great selection of beers and cocktails, and a good atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and we enjoyed our food and the restaurant’s vibe. Regarding accessibility, you will have to go downstairs to get to the restaurant but I noticed elevators too. The bathrooms were spacious and clean.

Came here for dinner with a lovely group of ladies, this place is fantastic. Excellent selection of local beers, great menu. It’s not often I go out to eat and see more than one thing on the menu that interests me but they have done a great job with it. It’s a pub but it’s not so noisy that you can’t converse comfortably. They had live music the night I was there, he was superb at a nice volume. The bathrooms are clean and clearly marked.

This place was excellent! Love the outdoor seating overlooking the falls & riverwalk. The beer and food were equally enjoyable! Really enjoyed dining here and especially loved that they are DOG FRIENDLY!!!!!

First time at the Union Underground. Great selection of beers with what I would classify as elevated pub food.
Started with a Von Trapp larger…very nice! Then we had a Tuna Tartare which was a huge portion with plenty of crispy wonton chips. I hate it when you don’t end up with enough chips…not a problem here. And the tuna was very good.
Next up, strawberry fields salad that was very fresh with nice flavor. Then a couple burgers…classic smash and wagyu smokehouse which were both solid. Do yourself a favor and get the sweet potato fries – they were awesome.

Great outdoor seating by the river and great food. Got the bang bang chicken and the wagyu burger along with the candied walnut salad and it was all very good and very fresh. Also, they seated us right away which we appreciated because we were hungry and the other place nearby had no availability but it worked out great!

We were on a foliage trip from Mass. Food and service were fantastic, especially being short staffed it appeared.
An emergency incident happened while we were there. The staff acted professionally and showed genuine care for the patron that experienced the episode. Even the people eating and standing by were actively trying to help. We hope the man will be OK. Otherwise We spent about 25$ per person and had a great time at a wonderful eatery. Highly recommend them.

My fiancée and I met with Sarah back in March to book our rehearsal dinner at Union Underground. At first, she seemed very nice and accommodating, and we were told our small party could be set up in a corner with candles and the tables arranged a certain way. Unfortunately, the follow-through wasn’t there. My fiancée followed up several times, and when Sarah did respond, it was sporadic. Just a week before the event, she assured us everything was good.
When we arrived for the rehearsal dinner, the staff had no idea about our reservation. They checked the book and found our party was written down as 5 instead of 11. The tables weren’t arranged as promised. On top of that, the area we were seated in had a broken AC unit dripping above some of the seats.
The silver lining was that the on-site staff were very kind and did their best to help once they realized the situation. But overall, it was disappointing that Sarah didn’t keep her word or manage the details properly, especially for such an important occasion.
Food was ok.
Waitress was extremely nice and the other staff who brought out food was very nice as well.
