Got the teriyaki chicken sub and it was very plain. The chicken was unseasoned and tasted like it had been sitting in water all day. The only thing that had any flavor was the Swiss cheese. Definitely not worth what I paid.

It’s easy to miss the place at first as it’s pretty tucked away but the outside was nice and clean. The inside was pretty chill too, soft yellow lighting, agreeable music. You know, your typical Penn Station fair. Customer service was friendly and the prices weren’t too bad. Also use your coupons! They have a lot of value compared to other quick dining options and they get sent out all the time.
Only thing is they put pizza sauce on my philly cheesesteak which is like… okay, listen. I specifically said no pizza sauce, it was already a rough day, and they were just closing up so I think I had a perfectly valid crash-out in the goodwill parking lot next door. Obviously says more about me than Penn Station but I ate it anyway out of spite and now I gotta be the weirdo who likes pizza sauce on a steak sandwich. The fries were perfectly fresh though so it kinda evened out. 9/10
Overall, pretty good experience! Would recommend. Oh and I wanted to review the goodwill parking lot too but there’s not a page for it so let’s just say it’s a lovely place to overreact, try something new, and have a nice cry (not necessarily in that order). 8.5/10

Is the picture on the left what you guys call a cheesesteak? more peppers than steak (i specifically asked for no peppers btw), the steak was dry, the bread was soggy and the cheese taste like they microwaved it and threw it on top the picture on the right is an actual cheesesteak from Philly.

Extremely loud atmosphere to the point it’s difficult to communicate with the cashier. The meats were tough, bread so hard it literally cut my gums. Sandwiches are hard to fold and aren’t cut.
I would recommend the fries even though mine came without a cup & on my husband’s platter.

If you haven’t been I can’t recommend it enough. Great subs that are creative and delicious yet simple. Not a crazy amount of customization but they’ve figured out the best combos so you don’t have to. The potatoes and lemons are both there in front of you, showing off their freshness. They cut their fries there and squeeze their lemons. They have incredible homemade tasting cookies. Can’t say enough good things.

If you want a really good sub Penn Station is for you. My favorite sub shop in Richmond.

Despite our door dash driver taking their time, Penn Station killed it. I ordered a cheesesteak sandwich with sauteed onions and a small fry, and my s/o ordered a salad with extra ranch with chips and a drink. Everything came as ordered. My fries were still warm and tasty, and my sandwich was also still hot and juicy. I haven’t eaten at Penn Station in a long time, but I will definitely be back for them delectable juicy cheesy moist sandwiches. Not all heros wear capes, but they wear aprons.

My first time eating at this location. It did take a little while to get my order, probably 5-7 minutes, but they were busy, and it was well worth the wait! The Philly was absolutely delicious and made exactly as asked, and the fries were hot, freshy and tasty. The crew was also very friendly. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive, but that’s any sub shop you go to!

This was my third trip to Penn Station so I was anticipating the same great food I had experienced the two previous visits. The food was as delicious as the past two times, but the ordering process was strange. When I walked in, I was the only customer at the counter. I knew what I wanted without looking at the menu on the wall. I told the staff member I wanted a cheesesteak wrap and medium sized fries . Not too tricky. The guy says, so you just want a medium sized fries. I told him , yes , medium fries so he rang me up for medium fries only. Looking down at my receipt , I saw the mistake. Now a line had formed, so I waited and changed my order to add the cheesesteak wrap. Now I’m two orders in. The fries came quickly and the wrap took a great deal of time. I’m thinking the confusion with ordering involves the volume of the music being played at the establishment. It’s hard to communicate with your customers if you can’t hear them and they can’t hear you. I decided in three stars. The wrap was amazing and the fries did not disappoint.
