Absolutely LOVED our experience at this unique and delicious French restaurant in Stuart. My wife and I went there on a Thursday evening. Right away we were welcomed by some very friendly staff.

The ambiance makes us feel like we’re eating in a French home. It’s authentic and quaint.

The food was originally and outstanding. We sampled many dishes, every one had robust flavor. You have to try the French olion soup. The chocolate mousse was perfect.

While it’s not the cheapest, I’m glad it’s not. The Chef, Olivia, puts a great deal of thought into everything from the decor and plates to the flavor and recipes. Will definitely go back again and we’re telling everyone to try this place.

It is an experience. Start off with a delicious glass of wine. You get served two delicious french breads with french butter. The staff is incredible and attentive throughout the meal. The menu options make it tough to pick! We first shared the BEST french onion soup that I’ve ever tried. I got the duck and my sweetheart got the chateaubriand. Delicious choices and decent prices for the quality of the food. Had to get a french dessert and we tried the mousse, it really was well worth making a little extra space for it!

Dis oui! Say yes to O Gourmet French Bistro!

Cuisine? Ambience? Experience? All of the above. The decor is chic, visually pleasing and stylish, weaving together French culture through the ages, both continental and pan-French, wrapped up in tasteful contemporary French pop music to accompany dining.

Now, the cuisine! Locally sourced, fresh and high-quality produce, local artisan-produced bread and bakery items, Natalie’s Orchids Island Juice Co. (bonus points from me for this choice!), high quality coffee.

Now, the entree choices we selected: Open Face Croissant, Bubbles A Gogo, and Tartine Tower. Sauces flavorful and creamy. Ingredients hand-prepped and cooked to perfection. Breads properly soft on the inside and crispy-crusty on the outside. Fresh. Colorful. Layout was precision.

So if a trip to France isn’t possible, enjoy French culture in a locale utilizing the best Florida and regional ingredients. No regrets.

Merci beaucoup!

First off I’d live to say, my husband and I were looking forward to dining at Os French restaurant. We both lived in France for several years and were looking forward to “authentic French food.” We we’re sincerely disappointed. Our evening started out with escargot (not the best we’ve had but not the worst either) then for our second course I had the scallops which were absolutely terrible! They were OLD. My husbands duck confit came out cold. Not only was the food mediocre but the service was too. It’s very difficult to enjoy your evening when you hear loud yelling and cursing coming from the kitchen. Very unprofessional. We left this restaurant very unsatisfied and feeling ripped off.

O Gourmet French Bistro is a must try! Their new location opens December 1st at the Elliott Museum. The food is so delicious.. not sure what the new menu will look like but the Brunch is heaven in your mouth For a great price . At brunch we started with these little breads with a chocolate filling (Yepp I said chocolate!!) and mowed our way through a smorgasbord of poached eggs filled with lobster meat, salad, cheeses, breads, and unlimited mimosas. The service was wonderful and the owner is a doll!!

My wife and I visited with two of our friends for dinner. We were very happy with the decor and atmosphere. The food was awesome!!! My wife and I only eat seafood and were happy with the wide selection to chose from. The chef did a great job in preparing our meal and the staff attended to our party’s every needs. We will be visiting as often as we can. Great addition to the Treasure Coast!!!

My wife and I had dinner last night and the whole experience was amazing! We shared a wonderful salad, followed by the special of lobster and filet mignon and an order of the scallops, as well, that were truly incredible! The sides were delicious too! The bottle of Cabernet we had was really good and reasonably priced. We ended dinner with a chocolate moose that was to die for! The owner/chef came by to make sure everything was great! The price was fair for top notch food, service and atmosphere! You get what you pay for! So worth it! I looked at the mid-week lunch menu and the weekend brunch menu, both look out of this world, can’t wait to go back! I thought it was crazy that a previous reviewer, Daniel, criticized them because he couldn’t order off mid-week lunch menu during weekend brunch. Either eat what they serve or go somewhere else and make more room for the rest of us raving fans!

Disappointed. I had a reward from Open Table and planned to dine here with a friend. After we ordered we were told loudly by the waiter but everyone in the restaurant could hear the owner on the phone, they would not accept the reward that Open Table said they opted in for. Blindsided and embarrassed.
In addition to this, I thought the food was below par for what we got for the prices. The wine and salad were good but the main course was just ok. I felt bad for the waiter and tipped him on the full bill but would never go back. Too many other great restaurants nearby.

I visited for lunch and the meal was incredible- had the French onion soup and “le visage” sandwich- both were incredible. The decor is eclectic and charming, and Chef O was very personable asking everyone about the food. I am very excited to return for brunch and dinner or any of the themed events!!
