The name has changed to Taylor’s Tavern. The service was good and the atmosphere was what I expected for a small town bar. We had a good time with reasonably priced drinks! We will be going back for another night out soon!!

Went on a Labor Day Sunday, 2018. I searched all around Lexington to find a place that was open, and this was the only one I could locate. The staff (bartender Laurie, and the owner perhaps: older lady who greeted me as soon as I walked in) were ridiculously kind and hospitable, even ushering me to the “Buzzard’s Nest” in the back for a free, fresh-grilled burger. I stayed for 3 drinks, and then stepped outside to watch the sun set behind a small thunderstorm to the west, which popped up, grew, and gently dissipated as the sun went down.
