My family has been ordering from here for years, but lately the quality has been declining. Tonight we decided to do a take out order and got half a chicken and an order of the ribs. I bit into the chicken and something sharp pierced my gum. When I took it out it was a piece of plastic. I checked the rest of the chicken and the ribs and both had shards of plastic. This is a huge hazard as these can become lodged in someone’s throat. I even started to pull pieces out and put them in a ziplock bag (photo included). I’m very disappointed in the lack of food safety.

I couldn’t believe I was charged $11 for a large fries. That used to be the price of an entire meal. On top of that, the staff was rude and acted like giving out a couple of sauces was a personal favor.
The food quality has clearly gone downhill, and the prices have gone way up. It just doesn’t feel worth it anymore.
For the same money, you can go to Costco or Sam’s Club and get a whole rotisserie chicken for around $5 that will actually feed a family. Sadly, this place feels overpriced, unfriendly, and not what it used to be.

My wife has been raving about the chicken here for some time and telling me it is better than the Peruvian chicken place (El Nuevo Sol) we have enjoyed in the past. I found myself disappointed in the food. The ribs were slightly sweet with an asian flavor and extremely salty (I am not a fan of either). The chicken skin may be more flavorful than the Peruvian but the meat was dryer and lacked much flavor. The amount of food was also significantly less for the price.

This place was great, bunch of vert busy guys, making great food for a great price. Haven’t been here in a while, heard some good stuff about the lo mein mixto. Had to see what the hype was about. The hype is real and the house sauce is very complimentary for anything on their menu.

Overall, they got delicious food at a very reasonable price and quite fast as well. In the past year, I seem to notice that the shrimp fried rice sometimes gets a different taste, could be a different soy sauce or some substitute.

12/4/22: I used to come here regularly but after taking like a month hiatus, I see the portions have gotten smaller and the prices stayed the same. Attached is a photo of the many crumbs that came with my yuca fries.

The restaurant says it closes at 9:30. I arrived at 8:30 and was told I couldn’t sit down anymore and could only take out food. I left unhappy because I had driven 40 minutes on Saturday to get there. On the other hand, the host at the front has a bad attitude when serving customers.

One of the best Rotisserie Chicken place in the neighborhood. They serve oriental/Peruvian style Rotisserie and Fried Rice. They have seating but it’s now limited because of the Rona. They usually serve pretty fast. The chicken is delicious, the fried rice is delicious, they offer sides like sweet plantains, tostones salads etc. The menudencia (chicken guizards, heart and neck is very good) I specially like the homemade hot sauce they usually have plenty to go or on a pour bottle at the tables- strongly recommend.
The only reason I give them 4 stars is they only accept Cash in a electronic era.

We come here often and it’s usually delicious. Today, the chicken soup was not up to par. Instead of broth, it was it chicken and vegetables in water. It was inedible until “fixed” with some bouillon.
Even worse, when I called to tell them about it, they didn’t seem to care at all. Which sucks for a $51 lunch purchase. Noted for the future. .
