We have been local customers for a long time, the food is good, large portions, and wait times are very good. However PLEASE FIX YOUR WEBSITE, I attempted to order tonight 3 separate times each one coming up with some issue to not let me complete the order, the first time the screen froze and would not let me input a custom tip nor submit the order, I refreshed website and this time it made me manually type in all my details again only for it to say I need to complete a recapcha when box to do it just disappeared from where it was the first time, very annoying!

The staff was great and the service too.. I just wasn’t very impressed with the food. Now granted, I eat like a 6 year old, so it’s not hard to do only chicken and rice and teriyaki sauce. But I digress.. I think it was the sauce. It seemed… Clumpy. But overall, the friendliness made it a pleasant experience and enjoyable enough to go back.

We’ve been a long time customer of Kaze since we moved to Walkertown but that’s ended. We always received good service in the past. We placed a delivery order through their website and the driver left an order at our door with someone else’s name on the receipt. I called Kaze and let them know and I offered to bring the other person’s order back and get my correct order. I asked if I could get the tip I gave the driver charged back to my credit card and I was told that they couldn’t do it and that I’d have to contact swipeby. The restaurant staff didn’t offer any apologies. I tried the chat option on the delivery tracking but the chat person said they couldn’t handle it because they were a different service than swipeby. I called back to Kaze to speak with someone in management and received no apology from them either or any offer for the inconvenience. No one has been of any help in assisting me of how to contact swipeby to resolve this issue with them. Needless to say I’ll no longer do business with them or swipeby again. There’s plenty of other options around for good Japanese food other than Kaze.

So it’s Valentine’s Day & I was trying to do a sweet thing. I ordered a vegetable plate for my vegetarian girlfriend and got home to a chicken and shrimp plate. The food is always great and the people are sweet but I’m highly upset I’m eating a hot dinner while my vegetarian girlfriend is eating the same old stuff. The Kaze Japanese Grill Experience (Call In/Pick Up Edition). I had two things on my mind on this day: shopping at Roses and trying Kaze, lol. So, after buying some cheap finds, I called in my order. First, I ordered their mixed vegetable plate with a side of ginger and hot sauce. I also ordered their spring rolls. Then, I asked about their soup but, they only had miso. I’m not a fan of miso, but I was hoping they had clear onion soup.
So, after placing my order, I headed to the restaurant to pick up my food. Once I arrived, there was a short wait. After all, I placed my order from the parking lot of Roses if you know the area. The establishment appeared clean and organized on the inside. Once at my destination to eat, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of my plate.
I also enjoyed the taste of my vegetables with the added ginger and hot sauce I had on the side. Also, the spring rolls were a perfect touch to my meal. I would go back to Kaze Japanese Grill! Walkertown has come a long way from its humble beginnings with only having a Hardees and a Subway.

Had to recook a steak that should have been medium well but was rare. All the lettuce in the salad was brown and inedible. Hardly any steak in the meal, which was very grissly and only had zucchini and no onions.

My family has eaten at this restaurant quite a few times and it is always a great expense. The manager is always very friendly and social. The amount of food for the price is great.
