This location is lovely!! The atmosphere is comfortable (the smells are amazing) with good seating no matter where you are, and a lot of windows.
The food is amazing (I reccomend the orange chicken personally), and is well worth the price. They give a great amount for what you pay for, and I always take home some leftovers. (It also keeps well in the fridge!) The quality is also amazing as well.
The service is very friendly and helpful, very quick, and seem to always know what you need!! Liz Beth was our server this time, and she made quick effecient and friendly work, and was incredibly sweet in general! She also made good conversation and was attentive.
Overall it was a 5/5 across the board, and was a lovely experience.

My visit to Pei Wei was a bit hit-or-miss. The standout was definitely the Salmon Poke Bowl-it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Highly recommend it if you visit!
However, many other dishes (like their orange chicken or broccoli beef) tasted very similar to Panda Express, but with noticeably smaller portions.For the higher price point, I expected more generous servings.
The ground is wet all over, and I almost slipped. Be careful!

I was surprised to see the reviews not a little bit higher, but regardless, my wife took me here for my first time since she has been here before and said it was pretty good. I would definitely agree and say it was very good, and they had a large number of options. We ended up ordering the Kung Pai Chicken, Broccoli Beef, Szechuan Green Beans, and more. The Green beans are honestly the best I have had in a very long time. I am not a fan of green beans, but the marinade that is on these, I was easily able to eat the full bowl of green beans before I remembered to grab a picture.
As for the beef and chicken, they each had great flavor and great seasoning as well. The fried rice with each was moist and not too hot or dry. As for the veggies, they are pretty standard and basic, but again, this is a solid option, in my opinion, as a better Panda Express option. Definitely recommend it and have been a few times now since the first visit!

We got a BOGO deal so we got food here for the first time. It’s a chain Chinese food place. They cook to order, so food can take a while to come out, around 20-30 minutes. Overall, the food was not bad, but hit and miss.
* Firecracker Shrimp 5/5 – Crispy, tasty shrimp. Tasted like honeyed shrimp but with no walnuts.
* Spicy Korean BBQ Steak 1/5 – Tasted like salted or soy sauce beef that is extremely salty. Had no sweetness or KBBQ flavor.
* Fried Rice 4/5 – Pretty good fried rice.
Restroom had no air circulation so it was like walking into a sauna. Not sure if it’s intended or they just need to fix it.

Five years it seems, this place exists where the old Pei Wei used to be. Gone in 2020, back in 2025! I lost a bet to my partner that there were none in all of LA/OC as I frequent the area. Not frequently enough it seems as this place which was once a ghost has been resurrected and I’m glad for it. The door has diminished in flavor only slightly, but that could be my lack of ordering my main dish with extra sauce. A mistake not to be made. I also recall the protein standing alone, rice on the side. Perhaps I’m mistaken or perhaps it’s how I ordered it before 2020, so I shall be back and better informed. Hot and Sour soup was good, firecracker shrimp was as good as always, Mongolian beef needed more sauce and rice on the side. I’ll be back on the weekly until I tire of it. Staff was super helpful and perhaps due to the 2PM timing, the place which used to be crowded at all times was especially quiet. Parking was easy without the usual hassle from In&Out and easy to leave the Tustin District, again I suspect timing had everything to do with that. Like I said, I’ll be back because this was a foodie dream a handful of years ago and seems to me it will be again.

Though the food isn’t the most unique, that doesn’t mean the food isn’t good… because the food is quite tasteful. I tried the beef and broccoli which was great, the orange chicken included actual orange slices which is always nice, the crab rangoons were decent and excelled most in giving an actual crabby flavor. The service here is fast and efficient. But the best thing about this restaurant is the perfect portion amount for relatively little calories (only around 500 per dish). Though it’s almost oxymoronic to eat out and expect to eat healthy, Pei Wei Asian Kitchen makes this goal a little more in reach.

Ceasar went above and beyond on Christmas Eve to cook and complete my order. He and another employee had very good spirit and really made my day, staying after hours to ensure satisfaction because my order went thru sort of late on the app. They deserve acknowledgment and its management should recognize they have great to have staff members who are high quality like this man. Update: The owner replied to my review and asked me to contact their customer service to make it up. I contacted them a few days and still haven’t received a response. I’m taking a star off for my wasted time.

Check your takeout order before you leave. I almost always get the sesame chicken and today was no exception. I ordered online and picked up my order. When I went back to my office, I saw there was no sesame on my chicken. The sauce smelled like it was mixed with something pickled and it was hard to eat. I was hungry and there was no time to go back so I ate a little and threw away the rest. This location used to be pretty good, but I can’t recommend them anymore.
