The Greene Turtle started in Ocean City as a place where beer was king and the menu consisted of a barrel of peanuts. Over time, we’ve grown an obsession with making good food and a belief that staying true to ourselves is what matters most. We make hearty food using fresh ingredients and highlight the blue crab dishes that are authentic to the Mid-Atlantic. Gather around and try food that’s so good that you’ll have to share.

Ordered catering for work. When it was dropped off the loaded tater tots was maybe enough for 5 people, and the wraps were not what we ordered.They only included 2 types of wraps when there was supposed to be 4 and half of them were veggie wraps. When we called they said “we didn’t have everything to make the order” so instead of reaching out they made the decision for us. They didn’t offer anything to make it better. Will never order here again. The wraps that did have meat in them were mostly lettuce.

Sat down on a weekday evening to grab some dinner, ordered apps and drinks. Only one app came out and the other “wasn’t put in due to a ticketing malfunction”. During this wait we couldn’t reach our waitress to order. Burger is nothing like the other locations I’ve been to & the oranges in our bar drinks were so old the rinds were hard as rocks on some and rotting/mushy/falling apart on others. And get this- the waitress had the nerve to complain to coworkers about me mentioning the issues with our meal- which was 120 for 2 people! Somehow each time I come to this location I’m always reminded of why I don’t come here…

The people were so kind but the food was very subpar. The wings lacked seasoned in comparison to competitors, and the heat wasn’t working.
I will say my caesar salad was pretty good, and the team of waitress were hospitable and very kind. But I will say the food was not worth the wait.

Usually I get the fish n chips and usually is ok nothing special last time it was obvious the oil was old rancid and it burn into the crust make it impossible to eat.

Ordered the hand breaded tenders basket & the crabby melt. The food was good. First time anywhere having fries and tots that arrived via delivery crispy!!! 10/10 for that. Unfortunately, they forgot to include the coleslaw with the tenders basket. Overall though, the meals were filling and tasty.

I’ve been to many of The Greene Turtle locations in Maryland, but out of all of them, this location is superior. Their food is always fresh, the service is on point, there is always space somewhere at the bar or near the bar and they make great cocktails. Our bartender was Mason and he must’ve been the only person working the front at the time because he was waiting on the bars, tables and hosting at the front, but he was hustling, polite and making sure we all had what we needed. There are plenty of TVs for sports games, a dart board and outdoor seating. The beer is always fresh and my favorite menu item is the Rockfish bites. They also make a killer crab dip that comes with pretzel rods. I do have one recommendation to the management and that would be to clear up the taste of their water. It tastes very chlorinated, but I am not sure what can be done about that. Other than that, a great bar to go to watch games, get appetizers and have a cold drink.

First time at a Greene Turtle. The food was so delicious and the service was on point! We sat at the bar and Kraig waited on us immediately after we sat down. There were several other bartenders asking us if we needed anything as well, which is great! I love great customer service. The food is very reasonably priced. I got the Nola Bowl and hubby got the ChzSteak and fries. We shared a fried rockfish bite appetizer, they were so light and scrumptious. Everything was delicious! I like that the place has a local feel also. The 1 man band was good too. I definitely recommend.

Happy hour is awesome. Great and friendly staff. The food choices are pub masterpieces and the atmosphere is great. This is a wonderful place to watch sports and you can get your on personal TV at a table if you want. Great place to get some junk food at later hrs and kick back after working a miserable job. They are very chill and the music choice here is just splendid. Gotta love the turtle. Om definitely turtley enough for the turtle club!

Haven’t been to a Greene Turtle in a while and was shocked to find the Peanut Butter Bacon burger was gone from the menu. Asked if they could make it and they did. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Waitress was top notch. Would definitely go again!

I had an incredible experience at The Green Turtle! Lauren and Jeff were hands down the best servers I’ve ever had—friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience unforgettable. They truly went above and beyond, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.
And the food? Absolutely phenomenal—honestly the best I’ve ever had in my life. Every bite was flavorful and fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into every dish.
Even though I live further away, I would 100% make the drive back just to eat here again. Between the amazing service and top-notch food, it’s more than worth the trip. Thank you, Lauren and Jeff, for making it such a memorable visit!
