The story of the beloved Schatzi’s Bakery & Café began in 2022 in a quaint little courtyard in Sherman Oaks, located in the heart of LA. When we first opened our doors, the irresistible aromas of pastries, cake, and puddings wafted down the streets on Ventura Boulevard, inviting everyone to come in. Our Cherry-Bavarian-Danish and filled Berliners quickly became local legends, drawing crowds eager to indulge in our exquisite handcrafted pastries and the city’s voted no.1 Banana Pudding. As word spread, Schatzi’s evolved into a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists. We’re open every day from early morning until the early evening, a croissant can elevate any moment, and our unwavering mission is to make today the sweetest.

I think this German coffee shop is very charming. It’s worth stopping by here and try the pastries, especially the Berliner. You might get addicted, they’re incredibly delicious! Overall, it’s a lovely coffee shop with great customer service.

This cafe is a precious little spot with the most scrumptious finger licking desserts! The place is clean and intimate if you will.. plus seating out side. They have great vegan options. I go to get vegan desserts and their Berliners are my favorite! They have banana pudding, delicious pastries, sandwiches etc.. if you’re looking for quality and great taste this is a spot worth checking out. Made my belly happy! ☺️

Schatzi’s is a hidden gem! Delicious treats and coffee drinks, friendly service and the cutest atmosphere. I’ve enjoyed each time I’ve stopped in and look forward to trying some of their other offerings in the future like sandwiches and their famous banana pudding! I highly recommend Schatzi’s to anyone looking for a fun, new cafe to try out. You won’t be disappointed!

With a warm, welcoming, and friendly atmosphere, Schatzi’s bakery and Cafe is an excellent place. Being a returning customer, I ordered the Apple strudel and was not disappointed. The order was made fresh, with layers of flavor, and a balance which was a delight. When you go, don’t forget about their bread. I was happily surprised by the crust, and flavor of the bread. Easily becoming the kind you can cut off a piece and have it by itself, or with a spread of your choice.
